Some mobile phones like iPhone doesn't have the radio feature. You can install an App so that you will be able to listen to the radio. But it needs to have a wifi connection. My friend thinks that the radio is so important for the mobile phone. She always uses it when she goes out. But I am not interested in listening to the radio.

I think it is also very important in every gadget.. since if you don't have music, you can always tune in to radio, and they have the latest songs there too. I am very lazy in updating my songs,so i just listen to the radio and the djs are funny.

Yeah, especially for people who are too lazy to update their songs... or people who have phones that only have little capacity for songs and videos.

Even though there is a radio in my mobile phone. I don't use it often. I rarely hear songs from it but at times I think it will be useful when I have to update myself with some news especially local news. Therefore I think radio also an integral part of a mobile phone.

When I bought the phone, I asked for the function of radio. I once have thought that I will listen to the radio on the way to work or when prepare the experiment. So I paid a little more for the function. But now, I have found that I only use the phone to send message, make phone call and surf the Internet. The radio function have been used only twice, and using the function costs more energy. In a word, I waste my money on the function.

I enjoy listening to the radio, but not on the mobile telephone. I am very simple when it comes to my mobile. Even though it can make photographs, get online and all that, I just want it for calling and receiving telephone calls. Oh, and I do enjoy texting as well.

There is a free app for iPhone called Tunein radio. I love it!! I can get any radio station in the world, as slong as they broadcast on line. I can even record on it, like a TiVo can record off of TV. It's my favourite app of all the ones I have downloaded to my iPhone.

But you have to depend on the wireless connection so that your iPhone can listen to the radio app.

I only listen to radio for news & most of the times I don't even need a radio for that... I usually look it up on Internet or watch news on tv... So I don't really need a radio on my phone... When I'm in the mood for music, I use my iPod...

My phone had a built in radio too but I don't usually use it now.Well, at first I thought it's really a plus if my phone had radio because you can hear music or news wherever you are.But sometimes it couldn't catch up signal especially if you are situated far from your network's transmitter. And besides, using the radio could drain our phone battery fast too.

When I was in college the only thing that I wanted a phone to have is a radio. Since my travel from home to school can be up to 2-3 hours I need something to do while on the road. Its still an important feature for me as I like listening to the DJ's if they have an interesting topic and I kind of not like hearing the same songs so having a radio is important for me.

Radio mean free music and entertainment on the go - Important to many people to listen to music.
i guess radio means instant free music on the go, some working place is very dull and boring and sleeping , hence my friends will use the handphone radio to listen to the programs on radio an the free music. Some people uses online radio website also to listen to music. Some people take this application very important , just like stereo inside the car , listening to music while driving is must in many car.

It is also important feature for me specially before that I am working in a night shift. Listening to some programs on radio helps me in keeping myself awake during those times. I also listen to FM radio sometimes and I prefer mobile radio for it.

Yeah i strongly feel that a radio is an integral part of our mobile phone but it is not the only requisite that a mobile enthusiast should look for. Radio helps us to unwind and chill during the leisure time and also an opportunity to listen to new tracks. But again it depends on a person's interest at the end.

I used to listen to it on my mobile phone all the time, but it is something that I don't really do anymore. Since I got my laptop, I am listening to it on that a little bit more because all of the radio stations have the ability to listen online now so getting an extra app isn't really needed. I always like to listen to the radio while I'm working though, as I find that the music can make me work a lot faster than I would have done if I didn't have the music to listen to. I sometimes listen to it on my phone if I'm travelling so I suppose I would rather have one that can do it if that's possible.

Hi I used to hear music rarely, so I am happy with my iPhone as it is having other good options which I like. Rarely I hear music and for that I can add my favorite songs or download them directly in my iPhone. But for music lovers surely radio is an important features. And that's why my mom will never like my iPhone as she love to listen radio in her free time. So I guess it is totally depend on peoples interest.

for me, since im not a music lover, radio isn't important although my phone has radio. for some users it is very important, to be updated on new musics, news, lives of artists, singers etc. if she wants phone that has radio then shouldn't use iphone. as of what i know, you should install first all the apps before you can use them.there are a lot of phones that has radio, almost 89% of mobile fones has. just choose the right brand.
