Love for the sake of love without expecting anything in return? Ideal. But can we really expect ourselves to feel this way? Act? Yes! But feel? maybe not! I believe love is giving a big part of yourself and in the process..you find yourself needing some of it back. That's being real :))

To love could be mean to sacrifice. The give and take thing is within the relationship. Thus, having decided to love someone is like deciding that we are willing to sacrifice. It is not expecting anything in return. And if we are in a relationship it is expected that we should also give in return.
