I lost my job recently due to company bankrupt and I even had to sell my car to pay all the bills. Now I found a temporary job but I'm looking for a way to make a little extra money online.
I used to make over $100 a week online on an autopilot but all the sites I was using got shut down. As it was on autopilot, for the last 2 years I didn't try to make any money online and I'm totally out of it. Trends on the internet are changing fast and I don't know what's hot now in an online money making world. So can you tell me the best ways to make money online that you know of? It's pretty urgent. Just no PTC sites please.
*I accidentally started this discussion in "listening to music" interest so mods please delete that one, thx

It is very unfortunate that your online earning on an autopilot is now stopped. There are many way to make a little extra money online, but none of them can be a substitute of a regular job. So you better try for a permanent job. Meanwhile, you can try for blogging, articles writing and continue your active participation in mylot.

Me and hubby are working at home by Odesk. My hubby have a few employers while I have one that I had since September last year. Although jobs are temporary, hubby is good in landing jobs with a good employer. I guess we're blessed on that part. If an employer goes another one will replace it. We depend on our work at home for all our bills even paying our mortgage. So far its the most profitable online work/job we ever had. You may try Odesk and check out the available work they have.

You can make a decent amount of money on short task sites, I have some listed on my profile if you want to take a look. The amount you make per day on the sites is up to you, because it depends on how many tasks you pick to do and complete per day. You can complete as many as you want. The earnings per tasks range from $0.05 cents to $10.00 per task. MechTurks is another good short tasks site.

I don't think that there is any way that you can make easy money online, and to be honest with you, the only way in which you can make money at all is by spending a lot of time on the internet. In fact, you would probably be able to make more washing cars by putting flyers through your neighbour's doors. I make a lot by doing matched betting, but this is something that you're not able to do unless you have some money to be able to put into it in the first place, so you have to be careful that you don't spend anything that you couldn't afford to lose.

You can try JSS ( or justbeenpaid for long ) and invest money and get returns. the more you invest the more you will get back. But personally i do not like this type of site because there is always a chance it will shut down and swallow the money despite it paying right now.
Another way to earn money online enough to support yourself is to create a website that people will visit. It has to be super popular for you to earn enough and this takes time and effort

I understand you. I also don't have a job anymore. i just resigned from my job because I am not happy anymore and I am tired of it.
now no job no money and I am now thinking of giving up my bigbike, looking for a job in place is so hard because the competition is so high and there are only few vacant position to fill in and there a lot of people who are unemployed.
now I am just earning online and I am only earning $33 a month in tagvillage. pretty low and I still need to look for other opportunities online.
