in the past, i have posted topics having to do with religion. many people have questioned what is mine. well, i am an orthodox nichiren shoshu budhist. i have been chanting now for 2 months and i can't tell you how much my life has improved by chanting Nam Myoho Rengo Kyo. there is so much to be said about how chanting can improve your life, the life of others, and yes, the life of the planet. does my life not have problems? no, it does. do i not have to live with mental illness?. yes, i do. but, chanting helps relieve some of this suffering from life's karma. i could go on and on, but instead i will give you a link to the website of my temple. i encourage you to visit. it will share some more insight as to what my beliefs are all about. chanting has given me some wonderful advantages. it has increased my income, brought more peace and love in my household. it is helping me deal with my illness better. i feel so much more peaceful and content inside. i am not trying to convert anyone, but if anyone is interested in something spiritual that could really help improve your life then start chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.

I'm a born again Christian----United Methodist to be exact
We don't chant but if it works for you---awesome
you see, my Holy Father only wants the very best for His children and you are one of them!
He also gave us to be stewards to this big beautiful world and we should lovingly embrace earth and everything in it!
Your religion has given you the power within yourself
to create goodness and beauty all around you
my Jesus has done that for me
He said in the Bible that He abides within us all
Abides means to live
so Jesus is living in me
why wouldn't I want to make the best environment for Him!
I am happy that you have found the grace and peace all people should have
yes,I know I should tell you that you really must believe in Christ---but I can't

it's okay, because Buddhism is really based on the things that christ taught. all he taught about is peace and love within and outward. do onto others as you would like to be done onto you. handle things and matters with love. that's one of my favorite and one of the ones i love to work on practicing.
