I guess its my fault since I had my hair cut in a cheap parlor. Its not really that bad but I wanted to cry since I've been sporting a long hair for almost 2 years and it was cut so short (above the shoulder blade). I really wanted to wring the neck of the hair cutter but I can't do anything about it anymore. I'll just go to a well known salon and ask them to do their best to make it better.
How about you guys? Did this ever happened to you like a real life nightmare with your haircut?

This discussion reminds me of my hair when I let my husband cut it hair. I instructed him to cut it but not above the shoulder level. He even asked me many times and I told him yes just right there but due to inexperience he cut it really short and almost chin level he must had fulled it harder causing my hair to stretch longer.I did really cry right after he cut my hair and promised I will never ever let my husband cut it even if he will still use a ruler.lol.

There were many times when I hated going to get my haircut because I always fear that the stylist will not listen to what I want and cut it too short. When I was a child my mother would always have the stylist cut my hair short (my mother felt that since she had short hair I had to also) and I hated having my hair cut short. I know I need to get it cut soon, but I am waiting until it gets a little longer so I can get it cut. I know that Randy will never cut my hair because he likes me with long hair although when I do get it cut he lets me get it cut anyway I want to (well actually I do not tell him how it is getting cut until after it is cut). My two worse haircuts was when my midback length hair was cut to my chin and then another time my hair was cut into a shag haircut (very similar to Mrs. Brady from the Brady Bunch). Both times I thought it was too short. I am looking for a new style, but I am not sure how i want my hair so I am going to let it grow for a while.

The closest that I have ever come to having a nightmare haircut was when I was about ten years old and I decided that I wanted to cut my hair short for the first time. My aunt was a hairdresser, so it wasn't that the person that was cutting my hair was someone that didn't have a lot of experience, it was more the fact that I had always had hair that was midway down my back and I went from that to having hair that only came down to the bottom of my ears. I remember crying over it in fact.

I have had a really bad hair cut back then but I couldn't do anything about it because it's too short to have it fixed and cut to another style again. I don't look good with bob or boy cut so it's not a good idea to have it cut that way. Good thing I can go with clips and hairbands. That time I really wanted to cut the cutter's hair too until she go bald. Nowadays I don't have a regular hair cut anymore.

Yes, it happen to me once before. I had a really bad cut even though i went to some professional salon. According to the hair stylist, he recommended me for short hair which is not supposed to be too short when i'm always having layered haired. At the end of the session, my layer was gone and my entire look changed. I was shocked when i see myself again because it really look good. However the next day, i can never style the same look again and i really regret taking his recommendation. It's been 5 years since then and my hair is growing back to its original length.
