First car. Any suggestions?

I'm about to get a driving license and I consider buying a car. I don't want something expensive or very powerful since I'm a new driver and I would fear crashing it in the first tree. So what brand and model do you think would be appropriate for a young driver?

A van might be best. You should be able to get commercial insurance which will be much cheaper. And as passengers wont be insured, you have a good excuse not to become everyone's unpaid chauffeur.

Hi stojan, well congrats on your drivers lic...Now anhy car would be ok for a new driver as far as I am concern,,,howeve there seems to be a more pressing issue....chrashing in to a tree.....who thinks of that...you need to be positive and not thinking about chashing in\ to a tree,,,that why you have insurance for them to worry about that not you...
