I watched them both. Personally I think the same way you think. The hunger for sending the ball to net is same in Ronaldo and Messi. But Messi does make more options for both himself and the team;he is not a waiting type of guy. I think momentum of Messi is better than Ronaldo despite Ronaldo does have an advantage of his height over Messi, you know it makes heads to be deliverd more precisely. Still it's a team game. One can't be a chance creator if he's going with his own plan and not follow the team plans.

There are many threads comparing Messi and Ronaldo. This is one just too many. As for your last statement, it reeks of arrogance. How do you define going through this two players very well? Eat, sleep, drink with them? Face them before in a proper game? Or spend thousands of minutes watching them in action?

I think more than anything Messi is a better team player than Ronaldo. Don't get me wrong, both are fantastic players. In fact, I think Ronaldo has the better all round game and technique. But Messi is much better in bringing other players into the game. Cheers! Ram

I think that in ball games like soccer it hard to choose with player is better, cause they don't play alone and they have the whole team with them.. I think, like you, that Messi is better, i think so because he is more a team player than C.Rolando and he pass the ball more to his team mates..

i think Cristiano Ronaldo is best beter than Lionel Tessi,, because Cristiano Ronaldo can play best in Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Portugal. how about messi if he not in Barcelona,, can he still best ????

I think Messi is a more all rounder as he can play goalkeeper as well. Ronaldo could not play goalkeeper. He also could not play as a defender, that goes the same as Messi. But I am very sure that Ronaldo's heading must be better than Messi as Ronaldo is higher than Messi. Can anyone of them play as a defensive midfielder? I am not sure about that. Please go thru the two players to see if they can, before you make comment to this post. I will take your comments seriously and make up my mind on who is the better all rounder.
