I'm working so much because I can honestly say, I'm a shoppaholic. Well, I don't understand why I do buy things which I think I don't need. I sometimes buy them just because they are new to my eye. Somewhat impulse buyer too.
But, I'm the kind of shopaholic that, if I already see it being used by somebody, exact the same thing, I won't buy it. So in short I buy things that is not common and sometimes expensive as it is.
I want to get rid of this. Cuz even though I don't go to mall, internet is bigger than a mall can actually be. Cuz I see a lot of different things online.
Have you experienced the same thing? And what do you think should I do to stop me? Cuz I don't wanna work all my life because of my costly leisure.

Yes, try to curb your being shopaholic. Before your know it , you have consumed all the credit limit of your credit cards and they will be demanding your full payments should you fail just even one time. 
But if you really have the means, then why not?

Hmm, you really are a shopaholic.
Try to analyze why are you like that. Maybe you have an unsatisfied area in your life and you make it up by shopping.
Stop now, while it doesn't compromise you in a hot situation my friend. With that addiction, then you will be better off without a credit card, because having them will bury you in debt.

Omg. I have almost the same drama with you. I used to buy clothes that I never wear, ending , after few weeks or months I'll just give to the first female who's near the time I'm checking my clothes.
I don't know , I'm trying to stop myself but I always have this adrenaline rush everytime I see clothes online or at mall that is so so different and unique.
What do you do to control yourself then? Let see if that will work for me too.

I love shopping as well, but I have had to slow down with it a little bit lately because I was just finding that I was not able to save up the amount of money that I was wanting to for my new house because of the fact that I was literally working for the whole month and then going out and spending the whole of my payment in that same weekend that I had been paid. Now, I make sure that I put a certain amount of money into my savings account as soon as I get it because then I won't be tempted to spend it, and this means that I am able to save a lot more money to be able to get the house that I am looking to be able to buy in the near future.

I do the same thing. Save money. I spent less than I earn so I guess that is ok. But being shopaholic isnt ok. I admit it. So have to change it.

Just like you, I used to be a shopaholic as well. However, I've been through some things in my life that have changed all of that. You see, my husband and I got into some credit card trouble and because of that we've been enrolled in a debt management plan which has frozen our ability to use credit cards for the last two years and for an additional year.
Not having easy access to money has been the thing that has kept me from buying things that I didn't need.

Oh that is what I dont want to happen to me. I dont use credit card yet. "YET"- meaning there is a high possibility that I will. Hope not. Though I'm shopaholic I do consider lot of things before buying, cuz I'm O.C. (obsessive compulsive) I want that to be very very unique. And never did I see that anywhere and anytime in my entire life. Thats how my mood controls me a bit.

i work because i need money for the budget of building of new house,and aside from that i am frugal type of person so i dont much go to shop and buy anything that i really dont need for my daily needs.i wish i could have an unlimited money then i will shop everyday.

I love to shop. It can be at the male, or it can be online. Shopping is fun, but it can become very addictive.

You need to pro and con about how much you spend on your extras vs how much you make vs how much you pay in bills. We all like to buy things, however, your needs come first and the extras you can put into the bank for your retirment or a home instead of all your things that may be out dated.

Maybe you should ask sometime to help control your shopping tendencies. Maybe ask someone to accompany you when you go to malls so they can tell you not to buy expensive stuff. Sometimes my friends or family do that to me.I also like buying things I don't need especially when I am in malls, like new clothes. I still have a lot of unused clothes at home. But sometimes I just can't help buying the cute top I see at some store in the mall.
