yeah, i have heard of lots of news reports indicating this song should not be sung since anyone who does gets killed. I don't think it;s cursed though, i just think this son is a favorite in karaokes where drunk men sings it. And usually drunk men also listen to it..and if the one singing has an awful vice, someone might kill him. So it's not the song to be blamed, but the singer.

That is so funny. I never heard this particular urban legend. I am assuming you mean the Frank Sinatra song? It was written by Paul Anka for Frank. Sid Vicious also did a version. I love all versions. I remember Burt Reynolds swimming out to sea when he was trying to kill himself in the movie the end. And it was played at the end of the movie good fellas. I was thinking it was that song the guy was singing in license to drive but that was the song that's life by Sinatra.
I totally agree about the curse as many who have sung the song are still alive. I think you can sing anything around drunken ticked off men and it's going to annoy them ha ha.

I don't know why such a classic hit has become synonymous to being a killer song in a videoke bar. This song is very beautiful both in melody and the meaning of the lines in the song. I have heard of people starting a brawl when someone sings this song, which is quite stupid. I guess it's more of ignorant people who are too drunk to think straight and will use any excuse just to start a fight.

Maybe the song could be partly blamed. It's a very popular song that any videoke patron would kill if anyone sings it first. Hehe! It's so popular that any videoke patron would want to grab the microphone and sing that song. Hahaha! XD

It was just my imagination. Hehe! But maybe, just maybe they are fighting for their most favorite song. Fighting for it like 2 predators fighting over 1 prey. Hehe. =D And yes drunk people have short tempers. It's always evident on news. =D
