Hi...Let me first start off from the word "Family", what is its meaning or how the word originated. The word Family came from the Latin word "familia" meaning a group of people. One of the main function of family is to produce and reproduce persons, biologically and socially. A family consists of father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, cousins, in-laws, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, etc. I am a "mother" in my family. What about you, what role have you got in your family and what is the importance of your role? All discussions are welcome and don't forget to post comments in my discussion forum. Will come up with other interesting things tomorrow. See you.........

I think that it is very important that everyone is able to have their own role within their family that they can be proud of. I think that my role is to look after the house and also to earn money as well so that my family can enjoy their home and also have enough to eat. My parents both work, and my brother is at school all day long. I do work, but I work from home and this means that there is a certain amount of freedom so that I am able to do whatever I like. I choose to do the house work so that I can help my family when they are not able to get the time to be able to do it themselves.
