I am working right now away from my family specially to my newly born baby...she is currently 7 mos now...I am currently thinking of joining my cousin in her home base job, I need to this since my child is growing very fast without me always by her side I know that I need to do this for our own good and for her but I would also like to earn without me going to the city which is about 98 kilometers away from our province, I love my family more than anything else that I possess but it would also be a risk for me since I need to resign with my current job which has provided me with insurance and all, a stable job and a great oppurtunity of having a career...I am really confuse now...any comments guys?

I work from home at the moment, and I have to admit that it has been the best thing that I have ever chosen to do. The reason I chose to do this was because there are not many job prospects in my area at the moment, so there was no way that I was going to be able to get a good job that paid a lot of money by applying in any other way. So I thought that I would just work for myself, and I have not looked back so far in the slightest. It has been a wonderful experience for me as it means that I can choose my own working hours depending on what I need to do with my family, and I am able to work late into the night when everyone else is asleep if I should happen to want any more money for something for whatever reason.

Hi Gem:
I have been looking high and low for ways how to work from home, still I always land in an office out of my home, traveling daily and dealing with all the hassles.
I really like to call it quits and stay at home, maybe you could share some of your home-based ops out there.

Hi! I'm kind of in the same boat as you, but with my 6-month-old. Is there any way that you could stay with the company you're at now, but just work part-time? Then, when your baby gets older, maybe you could go back to working more hours. And you could spend more time with your family.
Also, a belated congrats on having a new baby! :)

Thank you, that helps me a lot in my decision making, well anyway I am still undecided in regards to that but I am hoping I would be able to get a better job and could still earn at home.

Hi there Faith1118,
With regard to your query, it is really best to have a home-based job. As having this one is like running your own type of business. Wherein you can handle and budget your own time. Especially in your situation, that you need to take care and supervise the grow-up period of your new-born baby. If only that easy to say, if we can exchange factors - that, I will handed down to you my online businesses then I will be the one to handle your work afar, then, I will do it. As my situation here in our home is not going healthy anymore. My family pushes me to get rid of here. But what to do, I don't have that big amount to get a rented place for me. So I need to stay here.

I understand your sentiments because I a mom too and a working mom as well. I have same sentiments before but I am still lucky that my son stayed with me still. I am lucky because my work is near to our house so I could go home to him everyday. I planned to work at home. I am into blogging right now and online selling too (just new though). I am hoping still that I can be a successful mompreneur someday so I can command my time and spend more time with my growing son. This will not easy and I am still not quitting my job because I must admit it helps us a lot financially now that we are paying for our house monthly amortization. If without this, I can stay at home but no, we need this so I am still thankful.
Weigh all the cons and pros before making any decision. Sometimes we really need to sacrifice. If you can find a job near your province much better because your baby really needs you. Then try the home based work or do some online selling. Actually when you explore the net you will find so many ways how to earn online but still this is not an overnight success. You need patience and determination. Good luck to us!
