I have always listen that the dogs are the most faithful animal. Is it really true? If yes then who have the best experiments on it? Can anyone share his experience with mylotters?

Well as to my experience, dogs are really loyal a bestfriend that you can count on ..my dog was lost for 5 mos. seeing him again with a new collar makes him jump over me as if saying to me that where I have been? he was so happy seeing me..jumping barking then I carried him back to our house where he belong :-)

I think dogs are quite faithful pets, some breeds require a bit more socialization than others, hence more work, but they all have the capacity to be faithful friends. I know my dog is 14 years old, and she will always follow me wherever I go. She was sleeping in the living room, but she came in here just now because I am in here. That is the way she has always been.

Dogs are definitely faithful and they are never shy of showing their affection. Imagine coming back home after a long tiring day at work, and upon seeing you, your pet dog will be jumping around in joy welcoming you. Watching their antics alone will shake off the tireness in you. Another example, when you are feeling low and need someone to talk to but all your friends are busy. Call your dog to your side, talk to them. While they might not understand what you are saying and could not reply to you, the earnest look on their face gives you the impression that they are listening. And some dogs, they have this "pitiful" look that makes you think they actually sympathisize with you. Of course, I have not go into details about how they are protective of their owners and their property.
