PLUG-IN unresponsive how can I fix this

when playing facebook application I always encountered this problem. I have tried uninstalling shockwave flash and installing it again but it doesn't work .please help...

You should uninstall shockwave flash as is a end-of-life software which means the software no longer will be update and this will cause issues with newer updates of newer software.
Since you didn't mention which browser you are using, I can only give a general solution.
Here are the possible solutions:
• You should try installing Adobe Flash instead: get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
• Update your browser to the latest version.
• Update all of your plug-in to the latest version: browsercheck.qualys.com
• Disable/uninstall any unnecessary/unless toolbar and add-on.
• Clear your browser history. I recommend use ccleaner to do a basic cleanup:

What browser are you using? It is possible that your flash plug-in crashed or for mozilla's case, the plug-in container crashed.
