china's house price is finally more stable in this year, and it's still hard for most of the young generation to buy a house without help from parents. Some of us are wait and see if the price will be lower, some of us are thinking about buying houses in this year since the price is stable. For in the past years , the house price have risen unreasonablely in the past 5 or 6 years. And Chinese government did something to control it from last year in order to make a stable society. Actually, I have no idea about it, I think we shoud wait, for the price may lower in the coming year, but I also think it's better to buy in this year for the price is in such a stable situation. How about buying house in your country? And how do you think of buying house in China? with appreciation!

In here land and house are so expensive also...i really don't know when i can buy my own house...it is really big problem for young people like me.
In fact land and house in countryside is cheaper..but currently i am working in the city...I think i may save money and i may move to a smaller city for living later...because price in there is cheaper than living in big city...

Buy more land, they've stopped making it. Don't wait my friend, the only thing that makes the prices of houses go down in this age, are under population, that is too many houses, not enough people. And when something bad happens in the area, like it becoming a toxic waste dump.
The longer you wait, the more it will cost. I am thinking this year of buying a second home, to rent out to others, for a bit of extra income. The sooner the better with that one as well.
I won't buy a house in China, Panda's are nice, but the government scares me.
Cheers.

Do you mean buy more land, rather than house?
And actually, I think most of the houses are not that pretty, except some velas, I really don't like living in the tall buildings and some of them are not that beautiful and good quality...and the problem is they are so expensive.
but to get better opportunities in medical, education , job....more people would like to buy it , even though it's expensive.
I have land and big house in my hometown, and the environment is pretty, for I am farmer's kid, and it's no more than two hours from where I am living now. But there isn't so many good chances for education and job and medical...that's why I like to live in the city more here in China....

No, I mean buy a house. Because you get a piece of land with it. Houses are not pretty, but you can build one for just a little bit more money then it costs to buy one, here anyway. For you can buy at $140/sq ft. You can build for $160-$180/sq ft, and there are about 3 ft per Metre.
Ah, create your own opportunity for Education and Job and Medical, if you can do that, can you do that? Create your own business for your personal interests? I have heard that the government doesn't like it, but maybe my information is dated.
Sincerely and With Appreciation.

The house price is crazy expensive in China. It is still too difficult for most people to afford a house. I don't know whether the price is stable now or not. But I still think that currently the price is still expensive. And this is not reasonable yet.
I love China

I am not the lucky guy who is waiting there to see the price of real estate fall.
Last summer I received a mobile call from my wife, she was in my in-laws home. She called to tell me that the apartment in upper floor was rented by peasant workers, they make noises every day. So she told to buy another apartment.
I thought it was a joke and the excuse to buy a house is so lame. Later on my wife told me because both of us works and we both work overtime some times. We have no chance to pick up our sun from primary school. My son is in kindergarten now, and he will be in primary school next year, so my in-laws father can pick up my boy every day and also send him to school every day.
On the way from parents-in-laws home, my father-in-law met several minor accident in these years, once by taxi, once by a car, once by a motor cycle. It is obvious dangerous for old man to travel long distance, so my wife said the house is a must buy.I tried to talk her out of it.I wish they can rent the house instead of purchasing, they won't listen to me. Now our family has to pay one thousand nine hundred yuan mortagage monthly, beside that we have borrowed 150,000.00 yuan from relative and friends. We are heavily indebt, I do wish the price can go up to ease our burden.

Yes,it is very difficult to buy a house in chinese city at present.Although the government has made many measures to control, it seems the prospect is still uncertain.I hope the housing price can return to rational level, and middle-class can also afford to buy a house in city.

I have the same wish ,too.As a farmer's child, it's really hard for me to afford a house in the second or third level cities in China, and I do wish the government will build the countryside/village area faster , then not that many people will move to city to get better chance for medical, education,job....then the price in the city will be more reasonable....

Hi pinetree,I agree with you,the house price in China is more stable in this year. But I think it is still expensive and we cannot control it.
I have worked in SH for 2 years since I graduated from my college in 2010.Some of my friends are in trouble with buying houses, they really under great pressure. They are also waiting for the new change of house price. No matter how high or low the house price is ,the person must work hard with active attitude in order to enjoy the better life.
Wish you have a nice day!
