Psychologists are acussing parents who spend too much time on their mobile phones and laptops, instead of playing with their children, of child abuse.
Is this pure scaremongering or is it the wake-up call this technologically-obsessed society could do with?
I think it could take such strong terms as 'neglect' to try and turn against a tide of technology which looks like it could submerge us, erasing proper values with it. How about you?

I think that neglect is a bit of a strong word to be using, but if I'm being completely honest, I do believe that the people who wrote this might be on to something. It isn't just people who have iPhones, but parents in general seem to be spending a lot of time on their devices instead of spending time with their children, and that is very sad because it means that the children are being left to their own devices and not having anybody who will pay them any attention. It's no wonder that some children end up being naughty just to try and get the attention that they seek.

I think there should be some sort of limitations. I guess there are a lot of parents who are tech addict these days, there are even those who'd rather play games online rather than attend to their kids.
Well, I think this problems is not limited to portions of the world but I guess everyone is in danger of being selfish at the expense of their kids.
I think it's not just the phones but also shopping and other material stuff. I guess kids these days are expected to be mature enough to understand their parents.
