Experimenting With New Dishes

While good cooking is for the experts to handle, experimenting with new dishes is quite a fun. Most of the non vegetarian delicacies could be prepared with lesser degree of cooking expertise, it is hard to make vegetarian dishes palatable and tasty. The vegans are apt to try out new recipes to appease their taste buds. The commonly available vegetables, spinach and other leafy stuff could be tried out for a variety of spicy favorites. Soups with vegetable ingredients taste fine when cooked and served properly.Occasionally one could try out boiled vegetables with tomato or chilly sauce.Vegetarian food gets stale with regular intake. It is thus worthwhile trying out fresh recipes.

We've been experimenting with different recipes, mostly out of the Martha Stewart food magazine. Somethings we have tried just to be frugal, like bread pudding, but other things we have tried because they sounded interesting.

Yes I also like trying new recipes. I am sometimes reluctant to try them but end up being pleasantly surprised. This especially happens when I go to a restaurant and they have nothing that I have ever had before, so I just try one of their dishes and learn a new great tasting meal.

I have learned to eat in their raw stage many veggies I used to eat only cooked. It´s an interesting addition to green salads. I cook "al dente" several veggies that I did not particulary licked. I discovered that I did not like them because they felt soggy. I love raw cauliflower and al dente broccoli. Many veggies are wonderful if you marinate them for a while with vinegar instead of cooking them. Thinly sliced zuchinni is one of them.

hi, I love to try new stuffs and do a lot of experiments in the kitchen. Even I do something with the left over meals as well. I do cook leafy vegetables in a variety like sometimes i add cream and make it too spicy and some times simple boiled spinach with coconut and green chilly make it a better taste. I never cook/eat non-veg so i keep on trying something new with the seasonal vegetables as in this summer in India the ladyfinger (bhendi/okra) is available so you try ladyfinger fry, bhendi do piaji, bharva bhendi (stuffed), bhendi sindhi curry, south Indian Pachadi etc and it simply great...

I like to experiment with my food whenever I can to have more recipes avaiilable to try out. However, most of the time I don't have the time to try out new recipes all the time but I just come up with omething new to use up the leftovers to make a new meal...

Yeah i second your thought.. Experimenting with new dishes is not only exciting but also a stress buster. It can help you bring out the creativeness by trying out new delicacies and for that you dont need to own a degree in cooking..
