Resurgence of the Birther Movement

Everyone thought they were gone, but behind the scene those who question whether Obama is a foreign usurper to the American Presidency are quietly carrying on their investigative work out of the limelight. Who can blame them, the way the MSM brought the story across and tried to dismiss the movement as a bunch of conspiracy theorist fools? Information continues to come to light, and hopefully will come full circle by the time of the 2012 elections. Your thoughts? See the video on this page for some of the latest evidence. http://superstore.wnd.com/Wheres-the-Birth-Certifcate-Hardcover-PLUS-FREE-Wheres-the-REAL-Birth-Certifcate

I believe that when the history books are written, they are written by those who won. May we please read that those who were complacent in the cover up of Barack Obama's ineligibility write the history textbooks. Our children should hear the truth. If it quacks like a duck....

I agree, Debra. Too many of our children's history books have been written already by those who do not embrace the truth.

Reading the response, I see you get the same reaction I do. Wonder why such a concerted effort to shut up those who ask such questions? If they're so sure he's eligible and we are fruitcakes, why bother with the name calling and even threats on some sites? Keep asking. We do still have a first amendment, right?

With all of the money, and time that has been spent trying to proof if the president is an American citizen you would figure someone would have found some proof that he isn't a US citizen. There are very powerful people in this country that have tried to prove he isn't, and all have failed. The RNC has hundreds of millions at their disposal, and haven't been able to prove it. I hate to tell you this, but if they haven't proven it yet, and I don't they will.

Debater, why do you suppose that Obama himself claimed to have been born in Kenya until at least the early 2000's? Let's say he did it to create an image that would sell books. Wouldn't you still like to ask him why he would lie about that? And doesn't it worry you that he did lie? And if someone lies about their birthplace, isn't it fair game to investigate any and all of their other biographical claims which have been heretofore supported only with anecdotal evidence and not founded in hard facts?

"Debater, why do you suppose that Obama himself claimed to have been born in Kenya until at least the early 2000's? " Just to piss you off. "And if someone lies about their birthplace, isn't it fair game to investigate any and all of their other biographical claims which have been heretofore supported only with anecdotal evidence and not founded in hard facts?" And here is where you lose the argument. His birth certificate was released and verified by the governor of Hawaii, who is a republican. That is all the evidence I need.

And those who want him in power have billions to pay off judges and congressmen.

Hello clrum. I want to know about Obama's birth as well as any one else. But at the same time I would like to know what difference it will make in the long run. Will every thing he has done as president be some how rescinded? What will happen to all those executive orders? W8ll he be sent o prison or will he be sued for all the money he spent running around the country. I believe this will be around for a long time just as the questions about JFK's shooting. They neither one will every be settled to every one's satisfaction.

I think if it were proved that he is ineligible to be president Obama and a lot of other DNC officials would go to jail for fraud. The fraudulent financial aspects would just be sad. I doubt if the taxpayers could ever get that money back.

The thought also ocurred to me; JFK's shooting and who did it and why they did it really was 'after the fact'. The deed was done, there was no way to undo it. This is different, Obama is very much opperating in the present with grave consequences for the country.

My thoughts? That these people behind the movement are wasting taxpayers money on an investigation that no other US President has had to endure. I think that this truly shows that they don't have enough material evidence to say that he is a bad President, so they are grasping at straws to take him out. And finally, I think that in the end, this investigation will come out to be nothing more than a scare tactic and that Obama will get his second term We survived Bush...you will survive Obama!

To my knowledge this is not a taxpayer funded effort, but one that is being carried on by concerned private citizens who see enough inconsistencies to be inspired to spend their time and money following the leads to whatever truth they may discover at the end.

"The only 'we' that matters is 'We the People'" That is SUPPOSED to be the case, but that went out the window when Bush cheated his way into office a 2nd time. I worked for Working America during that campaign and I can tell you there is no possible way that he won Ohio in that election fair and square...and if there was that big a problem here then who's to say about the rest of the nation. Long story short, when "We the people" raised questions about the election, that was explained away and swept under the rug. If we can't blame these people for investigating into Obama, then we should blame them for not holding Bush to the same measure. If it was truly "We the People" we wouldn't have had to endure a 2nd term of Bush under false pretenses.... I stick by my statement..."WE SURVIVED BUSH, YOU WILL SURVIVE OBAMA!!!!"

"We survived Bush...you will survive Obama!" The only "we" that matters is "We the People". WE are supposed to be the American people. This is indicative of the divisive nature of politics in general and this presidency in particular. Since Obama himself claimed to be born in Kenya until 2004, you can't blame people for looking into the claim. Although he may have done that in order to make himself appear more interesting to the book-buying public, it is still something that would be highlighted, talked about and investigated were it any other candidate. If the press found out tomorrow that Mitt Romney had claimed for years to be born in another country, you can be sure that it would lead every news show. And even if then it was discovered or surmised or explained away as something he did to improve his image or create one that was advantageous to him, there would be serious doubts about his honesty and integrity.

If Obama has nothing to hide why doesn't he produce a real birth certificate? I'm sure that any other President would have had no problem producing their actual birth certificate if they had been asked.

Professional law enforcement and investigators and forensic document specialists all say the BC is forged. NOT only that, but his SS # won't pass e-verify. His draft card looks tampered with and he won't show his Passport or student loan records. Hmmmmm can anyone say Foreign aid student? After all, in Chicago he gave his bio out as 'kenyan born, indonesian raised... He's spent millions keeping this all under wraps. A few judges, heck, Soros and the Saudis can handle that. We have a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer, with strong ties to terrorists running Homeland Security, why not a few million from the Saudis to protect their investment?

AND he said himself in one of his books that he found his BC in a trunk at his grandparents home-then when Hawaii was asked to produce one for him after the Trump publicity cornered Obama....he sent his lawyers to Hawaii to get it. That's the one btw, that every one said is a very poor forgery. SO, where's the ONE that was in gramma's trunk?

It's garbage in, garbage out. . .but will persist through the election. Our politics has hit the dregs. Emotional hysteria and hatred replace reasonable and civil dialogue about the significant issues we Americans face.

Though I am not an Obama supporter, the issue is scurrilous. A Hawaii birth certificate exists and was produced after public demand. No other candidate has ever been requested to produce a birth certificate. Once Obama's was produced, its authenticy has been questioned by the same low-life scum-buckets who initially made the charge. The issue will no doubt be kept alive through the election to suck in gullible minds. There are legitimate means to argue in support of limited and conservative government without using lies, propaganda, rumor, innuendo, and smears - all poisonous to our political system.

You are pretty free with your own smears; the same low-life scum-buckets... are you aware that there are some pretty high officials in the military, government and law enforcement who question the authenticity of the document? And did you feel the same way about Mr. Sullivan who questioned the birth mother of Sarah Palin's child Trig?

I believe it's pretty significant that the President has no regard for our Constitution as evidenced by his record and his words. I believe it is significant that his social security number does not pass e-verify. IF it was you or I, we'd be standing before a judge. It is not the evidence against him that is lacking.

Ugh! It's such a bunch of nonsense and completely detracts from the real issues that Obama has failed: perpetuation of war, erosion of the constitution, excessive debt, expansion of the role of government and just an overall continuation of the Bush years.

Maybe it adds substance to the argument that Obama has failed (i.e. to meet the basic Constitutional requirements of the Presidency in addition to everything else). It just adds to the big pile of failures on his part.
