Once again I heard that forgiveness is for the person forgiving the wrong. And yet again I say it is better for me to plan and execute the proper revenge. They say forgiving helps you mend, well I rather be broken! How about you?

Forgiveness is not in my vocabulary. I agree with you. I would never forgive the wrong or the bad or the evil. F them. I step on them. I would rather be ignorant to that. If we had to forgive others, we would have to deal with these people the rest of our lives. I love writing people off. It makes things so much more simple in this crazy life. Who needs that extra baggage. I am broken and I will remain broken when it comes to this situation. Hey Now!!!

okay that is your choice but for those that follow it it really works and puts them at ease and able to get on with the rest of their lives.

I am not saying anything about you at all I am talking about other people, I said if you didn't want to forgive that is your choice. I am tired of answering your discussions you twist everything around to make it look bad. Like people are against you in some way. Nothing was said about you in my comment other than it is your choice. I will not be commenting on your discussions anymore I am just tired of this arguing all the time.

As she said, she would rather be broken. That is her choice if her mind works that wY. Planning revenge is a dysfunctional pastime , but to each their own. Got Prozac?

It takes alot of time for me to just forgive and forget....especially when it's something that is major....like my best friend in high school..broke up the guy I had been dating for four years...now if she had told me they were interested in each other it would have been different..they way they did it....well it was just wrong!

I'm sorry, but I just can't believe a rational person is talking like this. I feel sorry for you if this is how you are in real life. What you put out there will come home to roost in one way or another. Such is life. My motto is live and let live. It sounds like yours is live and let die. Do you have any kids? They ever do you wrong? Would you go out of your way to ruin them?

Carrying anger around is damaging to us. So I think I'd prefer to forgive than to carry that negative emotion. Maybe planning revenge allows you to let go and move on, but in my own case I tend to keep mulling over the wrong.
