I agree with cleaning up of the earth and ozone layer as well, but just cleaning it will never do any good on its own... How long would it take to have the earth back to what it is now and worse if big industries continue to pollute the air and water.
So apart from the cleaning of the earth, i feel that a re-education program has to be taught to stop the industries and individuals from polluting the earth again.

It is good that you want to make this world clean and keep the earth pollution free.
But one think i really want to make a change in this world is the religious system. the people of the world is divided in the name of religion and they are now fighting each other in the name of religion. Even some countries are known as Muslim country, christian country, Hindu country and so on... I hate this type of division. i know some People of one religion sees people of other religion as some enemies and dont even want to sit along with them. I think we need a change in that...

Respect. That should solve the issue. Everyone is entitled to choose the religion they want to believe in. There is no supreme religion. Conflicts arise when one religion think they're better than the other one. Religious leaders should learn to swallow their pride and make decisions for the betterment of, not only of their followers, but also of other religious denominations. We are created equal, who gave us then the right to judge other people based on their religion?

None of us can initiate just individual efforts aimed at cleansing the environment for good. It is concerted efforts from all those living in a particular area of land which could bring in environment friendly attitudes and a clean atmosphere. Nature would definitely punish us if we exploit its vividness and abundance of resources for our personal gains only. To maintain an environment friendly world we have to be kind and be full of gratitude for what nature has provided us in ample measures. The present day humans harm the environment. The repercussions are going to be frightful and alarming if things go on for a long time to come.

For me the utmost important thing that is missing in the world is peace and tranquility. In the wake of utilitarianism and profit maximization ,we are leaving behind the real wisdom of humanity and preaching exploitation. i would like to change the messed up life of people where human values are left far behind the in the rat race of hegemony and turning into a super-power.

wow this is a very interesting topic! I think I do want to change about our world is only one thing, one thing that can change everything and that is "the mind set of people regarding money". In our world money causes everything, like war, prejudices, and all. I want to tell all people that money is not the one that keeps our world rotating, that it is just a medium of exchange and not god. That is the only thing i want to change and i think the best one too. I hope many politician can read this discussion.

Lots. But if I could only pick one thing I would say peace. Let everyone do their own thing, not interfering with others, and leaving each other alone in peace. Of course even to accomplish this one thing you would need to change many other things, so eh hard to answer this.

That completely sick idea in people's mind to help out others. No matter if it is an other person or other country. Take care of yourself first, get grown up! Only if you are truely happy and have enough (food, clothes etc) you can help out others. Giving money away won't stimulate lazy people to work. Borrowing lots of money to others while you are suffering and don't dare to ask it back is wrong. Borrowing money to countries who can't pay it back is a big waste. It also won't help that country or the people of your own country. If you really want to change the world you have to start with yourself.

I'm with you absolutely. This This is why I make sure I recycle every little thing I can such as plastic, aluminum and plastic bags and I throw away into landfills as little amount of trash as possible. If I find one little thing in the trash that my family threw away that could go into the recycling container I go nuts.
I think in my life I have planted 15 trees and about 25 bushes that are all still living and I'll be planting more. Hopefully our next American president will be as environmentally conscious as Clinton and Gore were.
