Just an observation…

I am enjoying my time here and I get to know which members are also active at this site. I notice some members are very good in producing new topics for discussions. They can start multiple topics within few hours; which for me, personally, is something that is almost impossible to do. Not only that they can come up with a number of topics; but few are even able to start multiple, yet, interesting topics which generate many responses. Interestingly enough, I also notice that those few are not always commenting back to the many responses of the discussions they started. So, I suppose those few are really here to start a topic then enjoy seeing how many and what kind of responses it generates. To each is their own; as I said on the title, this is just my own humble and simple observation. I just can’t help thinking how much more those few would earn had they commented back to all their responses. I don’t have the ability to generate many topics; and even if I started one, they did not usually attract many responses with few even ended up with no response at all. So I guess I am just somewhat feeling 'what a waste’ that those interesting topics receiving many responses are not commented back to further the discussions and to generate more earning to the Original Poster.

I think commenting helps to keep the discussion going and it does not take lots of thinking to do commenting. I think it is experience that makes people to do multiple discussions and to do lots of thinking. I have also seen think that there are lots of people who do commenting to all of their discussions.

Yes, commenting back increases the chances to further the discussions. I think when we are commenting back on responses to our own discussions is easier because we are probably more familiar with the topic that we started. Anyway, I'm just happy that this topic has at least positively touched a couple of friends here. They have since been actively commenting back to responses that they received.

As you said, each mylotter has the right to relate to other people in the way they like. I don´t post over one post a day. Maybe once or twice I have posted two discussions. But I socialise here the way I would if Y was at a party at home. If I´m not interested in a conversation, I pass. If I´m interested, I answer, comment, go again to check if the other persor has answered back. I understand that some posts sort of "waste" if they are not commented. But, did you know you can comment the answers even if it´s not your post? I do that many times when I feel there´s a good thread or answer. That will also count as my active participation. The post unattended will get a small earning (if the mylotter is seeking only money). Happy posting, happy answers and comments

Yes, I do add comment on some responses or posts that are not mine. I do them cautiously, though; usually to those who already knew me or we crossed path here before. I don't really want to just barge in on other people's conversation...

Sometimes I can start a bunch of discussions depends on what I am doing or thinking that day. Sometimes I never start a discussion at all and just respond to discussions.

I agree, ideas for discussions really depend on our mood, frame of mind, and situation at the time. They may come easier for some than for others. They do not come easy at all for me, so I admire those who can produce many good ones in relatively short period of time.
