It looks like the Department of Homeland Security is doing really good work coming up with list that seems to be what they are best at. This time the list is a set of keywords that they use to look for terrorist on social networks. I am sure you will have a good laugh until you realize that this useless and asinine list is what a several Billion dollar department has been doing well that and fondling you in airports.
Apparently they have never heard of encryption and don't know that any terrorist plans would likely be encrypted using some form or another of encryption. This Department is a waste of funds that could be better spent somewhere else or completely cut altogether as well their are several other departments that should be doing the job of this useless department.
So here is a link to the list.

Oh and they where forced to release this list. I think they realized that they would be laughed at for the failure that this list is. I mean you would think they would have a cipher. Nope they just use this list of keywords to find out who the terrorist are.

Why doesn't the Department lock us all up for our own good and let the terrorist run the world. Why is this administration releasing all this data on how we fight terrorist, what our methods are and when we are successful we tell them how it was done. Mean while back home we put child molesters in charge of searching our children. Look we had an agent deep inside their organization but because this administration needed to score some political points back home they blow his cover. Now we tell them what words not to use. Who side is this group of clowns on?
Maybe we should make it easier and give them a list of our agents and our military plans as well as give them a morning intelligence briefing so they know what is happening.

Whatever happened to the old saying "Loose lips sink ships!" I just love how our government tells the media everything and then media puts it out there so Everyone knows exactly what we are planning to do and how we are going to do it!

Like I said, it isn't about our safety. It's about demoralizing US citizens, making us afraid and then locking us up for wanting something done about the dangers.

I agree, the Homeland Security is a joke, and it is a waste of money. You want interesting reading, read the Patriot Act sometime, it should raise your blood pressure a few notches. I like how they added "However they insisted the practice was aimed not at policing the internet for disparaging remarks about the government and signs of general dissent, but to provide awareness of any potential threats." Cause, yeah, they would be busy 24/7 if they were looking at 'signs of general dissent" ! LOL

For anyone who thinks we are safer, for anyone who thinks that Homeland Security is protecting us:

What is the deal then, if Homeland Security is being run by a man with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the jihad group that spawned Hamas and al Queda?

Here is an hour long documentary if you care to view it. It explains that Islam is NOT about choice, it is about Islam (submission) forcing the worship of ALLAH on all the world.
It is not emtional, it is fact based. Many speakers are ex Muslims and under fatwah for leaving the religion. Fatwah is a decree to kill. This documentary uses the testimony of these ex Muslims and historical facts to show that Islam seeks to impose a theocracy like those in Iran and soon, in Egypt, here in the west.

Well, I guess my blog on Nuclear power is going to get a few new visitors. Good thing it is on a rev share site. It might net me a few extra pennies.

I did a discussion on this very topic yesterday.
Is it useless? Maybe in finding threats like al queda. But not for making lists of 'enemies' like us who discuss these things and maybe are indoctrinated enough to their liking.
It's not about keeping us safe Joey, its about instilling fear and sorting out those who conform and those who don't.
