Okay so I work 3 jobs right now 1 I make my own hours so it's not a big deal but the other two I started pickng up a bunch of extra shifts which is great because I need to money but my boss at the other job just left for holidays for a month as well and gave me extra shifts so aging great I need the money only thing is looking at my schedule for the next little while I don't get a day off now for over a month and most days I'm working both jobs I have alot in need to get done at home and around the farm I'm thinking of asking for one day off I feel bad though as I am always asking for extra shifts in hate turning them down but I'm torn about getting everything done at the farm

We have the same scenario. I have 3 jobs and one freelancing activity. In my case; if my body can't handle too much of it, I have to switch scheds; preferably what we called shift bid. Most of us would like to talk about switching sched at each other to cope up either an important activity or a necessity to rest.
In my case; for the past 2 months I was keeping a 5AM to 2PM shift and now I'm getting a 10PM to 7AM shift so I can get the other work for the 9AM-5PM shift in my second work. Now I'm thinking of getting a 1AM to 10AM shift for my health preference. (I keep on getting asleep at work and my performance in adhearance is getting worse; LOL)
Before getting a shift being bid; or a request of schedules, you should assest yourself if this is a best sched for you and check other options. Then be vocal in telling your boss. As my personal experience; I also allow my agents to get their desired shifts as long as it doesn't collide with the daily performance of the team and what we called manpower count. Representatives on the phone should get enough rest so they could have their performance level at its finest.

Yeah we don't have stuff like that as I work retail and both jobs the same day usually I just call in when I need a day at my one job and as long as it's not to busy they usually don't mind

I think I will wait and see how busy it is at the vet this week and next as the owner hates paying people when there is no work so if we have no appointments scheduled i'll take the day off there are usually two of us working so won't be a big deal then. My other boss president all the pay checks before he left so can't take a day off there with out messing up the pay
