I can't reach my goals

I just worked out how much I need to lose per day to hit my goal weight of 68kg with 15% body fat. Just under 200 grams. Right now I'm on 1200 cal 4 days a week and then up to 1500-1700 for the rest. So far this has prevented too much muscle loss whilst still letting me lose the fat. Sadly, even if stay at 1200 cal per day for the entire time until October (my goal month) I'll fall short by at least one kg. Plus Id have screwed my BF% so that I'll look fatter than I am now. I'm not huge, I just have a lot of muscle in the wrong places (no butt, HUGE thighs, no biceps but thick shoulders) coupled with fat on my love handles, (still no butt - totally concave in that area - I hate it) belly and arms. I feel and look awkward. I decided to get my body fat down to the average for girls my age and height and to lose a total of 15kg before October. I've been dieting and exercising the way I said before since march and so far I've lost only 4 kg. I just don't understand. I've got a deficit of 900 cal on my diet days and a deficit of 400-600 on the others. I should be losing at least 650 grams each week or 2 kg every three weeks. I've lost about 1.5kg a month at most. I should be losing 3 kgs minimum each month. I've over estimated my food and underestimated my activities. I work out 2-3 times a week and don't include that in my deficit. If I added that in I should have lost at least twice as much, if not more. I'm not gaining any muscle either. I check my BF% every two weeks in the exact same conditions and I have a consistent LBM. That's great when I just look at my % going down, but I'm not losing any of the inches I need. I'm never going to be sleek and trim by October at this rate. There is literally nothing more I can do. Near three months have passed and I cannot see a change in how my clothes fit, no-one has commented on anything to do with my weight loss so I know I'm not any slimmer. Its just so frustrating. I may just have to restrict myself for the rest of my life just to maintain my current undesirable shape and weight. What a depressing thought

How so? Unless a supplement can either dissolve the extra fat or rev up my metabolism to work twice as fast without hurting me I can't see the use. I get all my vitamins etc through my food. I've been having extreme headaches for the last two days also, but my water intake is between 1-2 litres and I have juice and milk also. I don't think I'm dehydrated but I can't work out why

Don't lose weight. I guess it's best to work out with a trainer, a professional one if you want to get that desired body weight at a particular time. That way, you might actually be able to get your target in time for October. Don't stress yourself too much on this one 'cause it might just get you bored and even more depressed when you're supposed to be enjoying every minute of losing weight. I am no expert but as they said, it's a lifestyle change. Good luck and try to keep your spirits up so that you can reach your goal in no time.

for some people, it just takes time to loose weight. don't give up. what i do to keep my weight down is to drink a lot of water and exercise every day. maybe you should talk to your doctor?
