I wonder whether it is worthy to buy an ice-cream machine. The home-made ice-cream can be healthy. However, I am not sure whether it can be as delicious as the ice-cream we buy outside. I have read the feedback from the customers and there are negative and positive comments about it and this is why it is difficult for me to make a decision. Do you have an ice-cream machine at home? Is it useful for you?

My ex-boyfriend and I had an icecream machine. The first icecream we made was a kind of lemon icecream. It tasted really awful, and I think that we added far too much lemon. We had to throw it away, because we couldn't eat it, but after that time we started making other kinds of icecream and most of the that icecream was delicious. My ex-boyfriend had a sister and her boyfriend hated homemade icecream and he usually refused to eat it. One day when his sister and her boyfriend were coming over for dinner my ex-boyfriend and I made our own icecream and we had that icecream for dessert. We didn't tell her boyfriend that he was eating homemade icecream and he thought that it was very delicious

Hi CT, it's been a long time since I seen you..As for making it manually, I guess for someone like you who is younger, that would work, but I have to have a bread machine now due to aches in my arms and wrists, so the machine makes it easier on me..:)

Oh my word, homemade ice cream is the best ever! I love it way more than store bought ice cream. I've never had an ice cream making machine, but at church socials a couple would bring their own and make it for everyone. It was so good. I would only buy an ice cream making machine if I ate it all the time. And of course if I could afford it.

Youless, i seldom make ice-cream nowadays due to my busy offline matters. Maybe in future, i will need to buy an ice-cream machine, so easier for me to make ice-cream for my family. We all loves to eat ice-cream only it needs lots of time to make ice-cream. So, most of the time, we ended-up buying ice-cream from the nearby shopping mall. But, the taste not always delicious. That's why, we still prefer to make our own ice-cream whenever we are free.

I don't have one and have tried to make my own ice cream manually but it didn't turn out well. I would say it turned out to be an ice cream with an awful taste and end up to be in trash bin. At first I thought that since we can do it manually we don't need to have the machine, but now I believe that it could be a little help for us to make a homemade ice cream without need us to make it from scratch with hand.(^^)(^^)

No, we do not have an ice cream machine. Well we do not even have a coffee maker as we think we are not going to use it all the time... so i guess it depends on you and your family if you love ice cream and will put the machine to good use, then it is going to be okay for you to be investing on the machine.

Hi youless, it's interesting and fun as well to own a personal ice cream machine Considered that homemade ice cream is more delicious and healthier to entertain our appetite with whatever savors we favorite at anytime we wish. And it's a great pleasure as well to see our loved ones enjoyed eating our homemade ice cream. Thus I was so impulsive to get one facing the wonderful ice cream machines when I was young lol....
But after I though over and over and gave up finally. Yeah, a family with less members actually didn't consume much ice cream. If I didn't make use of it often, it's a waste of money to get one and just dump it idling at the corner. Moreover I realized that it's quite convenient to get ice cream at the nearby hypermarkets at anytime we wish.
There are various flavors from different suppliers available in the market. I always purchase ice cream with low offer price nowadays Few days back I bought a 800 ml pack of Yam Swirls with Vanilla flavored ice cream after we had finished the chocolate flavor one.
Happy posting

In my opinion, home made ice cream tastes much better than anything that can be bought at the store. Maybe that is because homemade ice cream takes me back to my childhood when we had large family gatherings where someone usually brought an ice cream freezer and ice cream suppers at the church. My parents had an ice cream freezer, but it was only used when we had company. Ice cream suppers at the church were the most fun because half or more of the families would bring ice cream freezers. Usually, each freezer held a different flavor ice cream. Those who didn't bring ice cream would bring cake or cookies. Some would bring both ice cream and cake. Since it is now only my husband and me, we do not have an ice cream freezer. Too much trouble for just 2 people.

Yes specially if you eat ice cream a lot. But Ice Cream makers are very expensive. Its nice if you could also sell ice cream so that you can also earn money while enjoying your ice cream maker.

I don't have an ice-cream maker either and perhaps I'd buy myself one especially it is so hot here in our country. If you have kids, it would also be nice to make ice cream with them! Hmm..now..ice cream business is a good idea!

No, I don't think so.
You can get when you want to eat but not good to eat it everyday as you have the machine, it will be easy to make it easyly whenever you want.

We had one when I was a child. I never really thought about it, but that icecream back then was the best ever. I am now thinking maybe I too need an icecream machine, since we buy icecream 4-5 times each month.

If you are am avid ice cream eater, then it would be worth to buy your own ice cream maker. You can definitely save on cost as time goes by. You do not have to worry about taste as you can always improve. Besides there are always recipes available and you can always make adjustments. Moreover, you can always make something that is healthy. So if ice cream makes your day... go for it.

Hello youless, well, come to think of it, that's your ice cream and you can't criticize the company but yourselves there for making one if it doesn't taste good. I didn't even think ice maker exist, it would be a good dessert for the summer. unfortunately, summer has ended here and raining season has started. i am contented with ice alone

I think it is a good idea to buy an icecream machine if you really love icecream or if you want to make it a business. I wanted to buy a soft icecream machine ever since but it is really pricey in our country. about $2250 if converted to us dollars.
