Trash to cash

I've been thinking about this for awhile now. You can recycle anything possible for a little extra cash. But what is some ways to maximize what you earn from trash? You can make something creative, altho there doesn't seem to be many people interested in this kind of stuff, so you would have to do your research and find out what people are buying. Maybe you can make a purse made out of pop tops, or a wallet made from mountain dew cans. What are some of your ideas, and please dont refer me to etsy or something, if you don't have an idea, don't say anything. Pretty simple.

One of the ways you turn trash into cash is sell the metals to the junkyard. People are paying a lot for scrap metals right now. So if you find and old rusty fridge or toaster that arent any good anymore you can still make money off of it.
