Does anyone use auction sites to save money. They have sites like ebay, the main one I am asking a bout though Quibids. Has anyone used this site? I saw a thing about all the money you can save using this site, and I did start a profile but you have to start with 60 bucks to buy 100 bids, and each bid is 60 cents a bid; I don't know if it's worth it. So I am wondering if anyone else has tried this?

Thank you for posting the discussion! I am wondering the same thing, after reading all the stuff on the site and having to pay for the bids...when you bid are you bidding from the "bids" you bought or are you paying for the bids plus paying the amount of the bid? After using Ebay for so long I am kind of shy about the new bidding sites like Quibids. I will be watching for the replies to see what comes up. It is tempting, but I don't like throwing my money away on something that is going to clean me out.

I like the idea of being able to buy gift cards for such a discounted price. Like walmart gift cards because walmart has 3 cents off thier gas so you could buy a 50 dollar gift card, and use it on gas. Which is my plan. But I am nervous about throwing my money around as well. I am going to do some more research. I have watched some youtube videos on quibids and it seems fairly good, and one of them was a good morning america review on youtube. So I would guess that it's legit.

Thank you for the information. I work hard for the extra money I get so I don't throw it around. Usually I end up spending the extra on supplies to increase my income. I may lurk around Quibids and watch what is going on.
I also like the idea of getting discounted "gifts". I don't have a lot of people to buy gifts for, but when I do give a gift I love being able to give them a really nice gift! I usually look for something the person can use that they wouldn't buy for themselves. Like for Father's day I am buying my boyfriend a lighted cane. He has severe arthritis in his knees and has to use a cane for support. At night, walking down my driveway, he has to use the cane and a flashlight. This way he has a hand free for whatever he needs to do.
I'm going to have to watch the interview on YouTube and see what they have to say about it. Thank you again!

I agree with the last poster that is a lot of money to hope you win. There is no way I would join and don't know anyone that would take that kind of risk. Its hard enough to earn money online now.

I can understand the site needing to make money but $.60 a bid is a lot. If something got 100 bids then you would be paying the site $60 and that is before the item. It seems odd to me. Ive looked into it before but never dared to make the jump. I hated how you payed even if you didnt win the item. That is a lot of pennies to hope you get something.

I love buying things on auction websites, because you can often get a good bargain. I have never used the website that you mention, however I have had experience of using websites that are a little bit like it. I have never won anything, but I have a friend who wins a lot of the things because he has got used to the way that they work, and now knows the best time to make a bid on an item if it is something that he wants. I would probably try it again in the future, but I have no money to waste at the moment so it is something that will have to wait a little while.
