Every year, a species of tiny moth appear out of nowhere around spring time and seem to set up shop in my wardrobe. Inevitably, they bite through all of my clothes. I really need to find some sort of repellant. I have tried to find the source and I haven't had any luck, so all I can do at this stage is try and keep them away from my wardrobe. I don't want to use moth balls - who on earth would want to go to work smelling like moth balls?! I have tried the sticky sheets you can hang up which attracts and then traps them...they don't work. I have fly trap plants all over my home and they do catch some, but not all. The last thing I tried was lavender, which didn't do much to help control the problem either. Does anyone know of anything I could try?

Well Moth balls do work, but if you don't want to smell like them maybe find a way to 'seal' your clothes. For example, put them in plastic bins. Call an exterminator to see if they might have a more permanent solution, or figure out where the moths are entering the house so you can seal it.
