last night i noticed someone next door and that place has been empty for a few months. except for last night. this morning i went over and introduced myself to my new neighbor and they seem nice! I have been dying to make new friends and now im not dying that much! im exagerating a little bit there..hehe! I helped them move in some of their stuff and its HOT here in Texas-really hot. ten min of going back and forth bringing things in was hard work whew thank goodness its over! i kinda like it because we have a lot in common. we have two kids they like the outdoors they wear glasses..i could go on and on! she even like gardening...is that a word??...well it is to me = D
anyways i offered her my neighborly servces and visa vera. i can finally go one dates with my husband! yayyyyyy im so excited. do u know how long its been sence i have been on a date alone with my own spouse?! a long time let me tell u..so the sun is about to be down in the horizon and im about to take them to our 'beach' that we have here...

yep! ur right!! she is very nice and i hope she rubs off on me. by that i mean (because shes organized and im not)she can teach me to be kinda like her! she wears glasses like me, by height and body type, we both have 2 girls. her girls are 10 and 6. my girls are 3 and 6 and our girls are born 4 yrs apart give or take a few months or weeks. her 6 yr olds' bday is april 28 and Lina's bday is july 28th!!! that amazing to me!

I think it's great to say hello to your new neighbours, because they are the ones who are going to be there for you in the future if you should ever need anybody urgently for some reason. I had a new neighbour move into the house next door to me just a couple of weeks ago, and I went out to introduce myself to her. My younger brother still hasn't bothered to do this, and I think that he is very rude because it is only polite to help them to settle in to their new house as she doesn't know the area. But I guess they will no doubt be bumping into each other at some point, so I am sure that they are going to get the chance to say hello.

my husband was the same way! after he came in from work(he travels 45 min to and from work) i hinted that maybe he should go introduce himself to our new neighbors...he said he was tired. but i know what the real reason is but reguardless of that, he should've still made the initative to go next door and say hi or offer a cold drink. that is just like him to do that.
he thinks they will think bad of him...i suppose i will have to make him go, no matter what he does or says-he'll thank me later!

Oh thats cool you have some new neighbors who you can be friends with and have alot in common with. That is a good neighborly friend indeed, and I'm glad you can go on dates with hubby now. Did she agree to babysit your kids for you and vice versa? The beach sounds like a wonderful time and I'm hoping you all have fun. Way to go, friends are hard to come by. I wish there would be some new neighbors moving in here that have some things in common with me.

yes we talked alot while we were taking a break from the heat! i dont know who started it but it doesnt really matter..i told her if she ever needs anything at all(she came all the way from ohio or something like that-they were on the road for 4 days!) come knock on my door. if u need a babysitter im right there. the only condition i made was that she not feel that she should pay me or that she feels she should return the favor. and visaversa too! friends are hard to come by. she is a great person, from what i gathered when we talked! im soooooo glad and happy that i made the 1st move to introduce myself to her and her family.

I think its real cool to have good neighbors, cause you can also build good friendships for the future..I have had the same neighbors for 5years and we all do so much together.. bbq's going fishing birthday events with the kids.. and once u build that trust with them then it good because you will feel safe letting them watch ur kids if u and your spouse want to have a night alone and vice verse..

Wow, that's sounds great. Sometimes, a good neighbor is very important for both of us. They can be very good friends too. It seems that you finally can have a good neighbor, maybe a good friends too. :)
