First day of presumed work or job,then as day goes by, was told that i can leave

Hello there, on my previous post i posted with the tile of some keyword "interview, hired on the spot for admin assistant intern" meaning I was think was it a job or something they hired me. For my first day of work, I was on time. They arrived on around 9. I was ahead before them. However, first day for admin assistant was go sit on my desk. Was told where the bathroom, and area where i can drink of water, etc. Then was able to use computer and showed me how to use phone and phone ettiquette, and did some Marketing duties and they told me to go to their company website and review their products...Then also did some status updates for their facebook. I also read their Marketing duties guidebook they let me read. After that, I did practice on on writing email marketing campaign newsletter they wanted me to try out using the tool campaigner. I did the best I can creating email marketing campaign. But some mistakes the first time. The person helping me said "this is a warning" your supposed to put "Dear (name of person) and the letter before the content of what your going to say on newsletter. She also asked how to put the variable for contact on letter and asked me to email or contact the campaigner (email marketing website). Then after awhile, they responded back saying the variable is [ContactName] Then the boss ask me to try be creative on creating a press release similar format to the one he showed me using the same topic "Cold Season" with the product. First Try, he said it's the same as the one I showed him because I reworded it differently. Then I did it for second try and made it a little different but wasn't able to finish it. I did the best I can. But I did have doubts secretly to myself because I felt there was no real instruction or that it was rushed. Also I did have lunch at 12:30 on my first day and the person I was working with said If i have half an hour lunch, I leave 5:30 and if I have full hour lunch, I leave 6:00. So after that, i did press release for second time. The boss wanted to talk to me and he said that he will be evaluating my performance of the day and that he will give me a call back if they want to evaluate me more. Then I was told that I can leave around 4:00 or 4:15. He did give me my pay but I don't if I will go back or if they will me. By the way, it was only them 2 the boss and his assistant there. There's no other employees as well. they are also interviewing and trying to hire more people. At same time i have doubts and don't know if this is a right fit for me based on what I saw today. I felt maybe I'm somewhat slow on press release part because that is my most weakpoint on writing. And when I gave my boss the second one i wrote, I felt that he might not like the 2nd one i wrote as much as i wrote first one which he thought was similar to the example he had given me but reworded it. They expected me to be fast learner. It seems like as if they want too fast to pick up. I there was not much moral support I can rely too. So I don't know if i will get call back. It seems it was all testing phase like what they said they are going to test more candidates or something.
