There are many reasons why an employee become bored to their work. One of them is SALARY. Salary affects the employee's performance through work. If the salary of an employee is too low but the work/load given to him is too high boredom comes in o employee's part and maybe decides to look for a better job. Second is STAGNANT LEARNING, if an employee always do a similar job, again and again and not learning new things, Employee becomes bored also. Third is he ENVIRONMENT TOWARDS WORK. We all know this fact. If there are employee or boss don't like you, there's a high possibility of work imbalance towards the team/workmates, which is also affects the bond of the team (if they are team).
I think these are the major factors affects the employee's boredom.
If you relate with this topic. Please tell us the other facts that affects employee's boredom.
Thank You. :)

Wow. You are totally right. I got bored
with my past job mainly because the salary is
too low for me. I feel like I'm working too hard
but I'm still underpaid. No one would be motivted with
low pay.

You are right. These are the major factors why someone leaves his/her work. But according to one seminar I attended, "People leaves their job because of people." This means that most who leaves their job is not because of the salary or the routine works but because of other man like co-worker, boss, and other people. Based on the three reasons you mentioned, the third one is the most influencial lwhen it comes to boredom in work.
