What if you bought something online and you haven't received an activation code as promised and you've decided to ask for a refund and after a few days you received the activation code and soon the refund too. What would you do if this happened? Can you take using the product with an activation code available though your money was refunded?

I think the normal procedure for a non-receipt of activation code is to resend again the activation code. They usually won't do a refund unless you have specifically asked for one as you don't want that product anymore. In that case, they will disable the activation code that was sent before they send out again or do a refund. If you use the activation code, they will think that you have changed your mind and they may not send you the refund.

I received the activation code and the refund. I've only lightly used the program as of now after more than two weeks. Well it could be a birthday present as I happen to celebrate my birthday few days after I got the refund.
