How Do You Get More Responses To Your Discussions

I, probably like a lot of members, have discussions where I have had no responses. There again some have had over 20. So what is the secret to making sure that you get a good amount of responses when you submit a new discussion. Is there a secret?

I think one of the keys is to respond to the responders so to speak, as that seems to give the discussion a new leaf of life and bump it to the top of the pile once again.

I don't think there's any real secret. Just try to make it interesting and unique. Don't ask yes or no questions and don't ask a question that's been asked over and over and over again. Know what I mean?
