There is a very easy way to make good soup if you are not sure how to begin. Its Called "Nail Soup" and to start you find a clean nail any size or length and drop it in a pot of water. Bring the water and the nail to a boil, and add a pinch of salt. If you want a thicker soup you can add a soupbone, or some leftover meat, potatoes and vegetables. In fact you can add most anything. When its a nice thick soup pour it into a bowl and enjoy!

Take the nail out before you eat the soup!

The salt soup is fairly simple. Just heat the water until it is to your liking, preferably boiling. Then add the salt. I find that I just like a little salt, but add the salt to your particular tastes. Let cool so that you do not burn your the tongue, then pour into bowls and eat! Also, if you want something not quite as simple, you can prepare the water and then place the vegetables of your liking to the water. Then season to your delight. Bon Appetite'!

The salt is needed for life, friend. It is the essential. Yes, it is simply, but I am a simple soul.

Soup is very simple. Basically, it's vegetables and seasonings cooked in water or broth. You can use meat in it, too. If you use meat, cook it first, either by boiling or cooking some other way. Put it in water or broth and begin adding whatever vegetables you have on hand. A starch like potatoes or rice or pasta is usually added, but not necessary. Vegetables can be anything, but add them in the order that they cook. In other words, if you put in carrots, put them in first because it takes them longer to cook than most other vegetables. I never use a recipe for soup because I never have the same ingredients on hand, but potato soup is basically chopped potatoes and onions, cooked in water, then milk is added at the last. Some people thicken it with flour or corn starch, but I don't. Salt and pepper is all you need. Vegetable and barley soup is usually barley boiled in broth of some kind, then vegetables like carrots, onions, corn and green beans added. You can substitute any vegetable you like, though.

We get soup that can be mixed with water and cooked in small packets that have soup powder. I think soup is good for health. I would suggest you to look at the internet to see more recipes of soup. I like vegetable soups very much.

Try the chicken noodle soup. Just saute onion, garlic and shredded chicken. Add chicken stock or plain water. When it boils, add the macaroni noodles until cooked. Add some seasoning to taste followed by the veggies (carrots and cabbage). You can add evaporated milk if you want. That's it.

Oh I have just the thing! It's a delicious one and given by a restaurant, you boil like 2 potatoes for half a liter of water for 1 hour, than in the last 10 minutes you put kale and then put it all in the mixer or you can cut the kale really small and put it raw in the end over the soup. You can season with pepper and sault but I particularly love to season it with garlic powder as well. Vegan dinner, bueno apettito

If you start our with vegetable or chicken stock(you can make this yourself to save money by just pouring off the juice from cooking either and keep it in a container in your freezer) then add whatever vegetables you have on hand(3-5 is sufficate) and some herbs if you like them. Bring to a rolling boil then let simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. The longer you cook it the better the flavor.

I use a blender to make soups and creams. I don´t know if you have it. They are not expensive and they are very useful in the kitchen. I either use broth (from any kind of meat or bones) or a cube as a starter. I cut up veggies (I use whaever I have in hand) and let them boil. When they are cooked, I put them in the blender. I like to add some milk, so I don´t use too much water in the cooking. I serve them either with croutons (made from stale bread) or parmesan cheese.

I like chicken noodle soup, not with too much water that you feel that you have only a couple of noodles in your bowl. My daughter loves tomato soup, and she could eat the whole pot if I don't stop her.

Slice some onions , heat the cooking oil, than add sliced onion, a couple cloves(just 2 or 3) and an inch of cinnamon and stir it until it smells good... Add water and some chicken meat that cut into cubes... After the meats soften add the vegetables... Add salt and pepper, stir it and ready to serve..
