I had it today. It is so hard when you are not prepared or you don't have any extra water even to cook your food. This is the first time for the last 6 years we are living in this house. I started to clean the bath room when the water stopped. I had clothes in the washing machine right now.. Oh!!! I am now trying to figure out what will I do? what did you do when you had this kind of experience?

This happened to us about a month ago. What did we do? We did without water...well, we did without hot water. Our water heater broke so we had no hot water and we had to wait for the water heater to arrive from the supplier. At least we had the cold water.
I am sorry to hear that you no have the water. That will be tough. Have you any idea when to expect water?

At this time when I am writing this, we still don't have water and I have no idea of when it will be back. My hubby will be home in a few minutes and I did not cook yet because I have to figure out what kind of meal I will prepare that I don't need to use water. Maybe we will just have pizza.

Pizza sounds like a good idea under these circumstances.
Are you on municiple water or well water?

That would be a big problem bebs if you have no one to let fetch water for you and if there has no manual pump near your place. Water I guess is more important than electricity but water goes along with electricity..
I think the best thing for you to do is to find someone to get water for you even for just for your cooking and drinking purposes. Clothes at the washing machine could be done the next day as soon water comes again..

This happened to me last month. Because of some repairs on the pipelines, the flow of water was cut off without any prior warning. The only water we had were those inside the ref. It was really annoying and to add to the misery, we had no electricity for the day. Fortunately, there was a heavy rain in the late afternoon and we were able to collect some water from the gutters. The whole neighborhood was affected and everybody was just so irritated since it is very rare that we would go out of water. We had to buy take-outs for lunch and dinner as there was no water for cooking.
