I've watched all the episodes I think or almost all of them. I love to watch an episode I've never seen before. Now I'm starting to watch "The Little House on the Prairie, a New Beginning". I loved watching little "Half-Pint", Laura, growing up. I love all the characters. This show has helped me through a rough time in my life. My favorites are Laura and Charles (Michael Landon).

i watched this show a lot when i was growing up and read all the books more than once...when i was in college, a group of friends and i scheduled our classes around the scheduling of little house on the prairie and gathered in the lobby of our dorm to watch it with drinks and snacks...i have recently been able to travel through minnesota and south dakota to some of the places where laura lived...since i am from the south, it was really great to see the prairie for myself, it is beautiful....i just read west from home, letters of laura ingalls wilder when she visited the worlds fair in san francisco in 1906? maybe? and another biography of her and her daughter rose as writers and i really admire her more for all she was able to achieve against incredible odds...i think you are right about her dad too,in her books and the books i have read about her, he comes across as a remarkable man with a great deal of courage and humor on top of it all...they are a very inspiring family for us, even after all these years!

It is interesting that you mention scheduling your classes around this show whilst in college. My friends and I used to do something similar, but it was for Perry Mason. Well, maybe not so similar. We were just a few minutes late to class every day because Perry Mason ended at five minutes after the hour.

How I can remember this Series, and what an inspiration it truly was back when I was growing up. People now a days need some form of a good program to help teach their kids the importance of how things are back when I was growing up compared to now. I think this show continues to be a hit because of the Values it shows, and the wonderful people in it. At one time I even owned all the Books based on the show, and in a lot of ways wish I still did.

I used to love watching, Little House on the Prairie. I watched it every chance I got when I was a child. Every once in awhile, I'll watch it again. I also enjoyed the books. Recently, we moved very near where many of these stories took place, and it's interesting to think about.
