Can I have another 24 hours a day?

Haha... I know that feeling. I have many things to do as a mom and wife, but even so, I still want to be able to accomplish other things for myself. Among these are gourmet cooking, learning other languages, and handcrafting (my hobby). To write a book before I get too old is also one of my plans in life.

You are such a good wife, a good mother and your day is really busy. I am happy when you really love your busy life now, it is very good. I think 24 h is not enough for us to complete works in a day because right now people are so so busy with works, family activities, etc... I am single, no kids yet but i do wish a day is longer then i have more time to earn more money...My goal is money now because i really want to complete my dream: buy my own house.

there times during the year when i have a wish like that. i work part time, hubby and i have 3 extra jobs on the side, i have a hubby, 2 kids and a house, and i make a lot of gifts and cards and so on. so i definitely know where you are coming from.

I absolutely ask for this. I am busy with my craft as well. I am very detail oriented which takes up a lot of time, but when you put your name on something, it is just the way you have to be. Imagine, 48 hours in a day and 730 days in a year. I guess it can happen somewhere in the universe. Until we find out where, I guess we have to manage time the best way possible to fulfill all our duties and pleasures.

I often wish that I had more time. I have two jobs, and I am involved in voluntary work, and leaves very little time for my art and my crafts. I have a craft room upstairs, and I was very excited when I got my own craft room, but so far I haven't had time to use it much. I haven't got much time for my music either. I want to learn to play the guitar, and I have a guitar, but I still haven't had the time to learn to play. Right now I have to work hard to save up the money for our trip to Asia, and that is my first priority at moment, because I really, really want to travel, but I still haven't enough money. Some extra hours each day would be nice

Hi shylade,I think your life is so meaningful.You can do everyting in anywhere.Time is like a sponge lane as water is squeezed out, but more and more crowded.As you are busy so that you feel your time is not ennogh to use.I have the same feeling when I am busy.But I am boring now,because of it is low season at this monment for my job.If possible,I would like to borrow some time for you ,haha. Oh man.. that would be so nice. I would maybe get enough sleep. I'd get all my chores done. I have extra time with my kids. I may even fit in some private time with my hubby. Where is the petition ? I'll sign it!

Hehe Lol! You surely can try managing time in a better way, so that you are able to complete all those tasks soon and then do other things like shopping and stuff! :D Because managing time is the only option left as you cannot buy more 24 hours ! Lol! :D But even I would love to get more than 24 hours a day. Because even I would love to do many things! :) But that I know it isn't possible, I try managing time but at times even that doesn't happen sadly! :(

Hey, I would love to have extra hours per day for my own too, but it seems that 24 hours per day just set and done. I couldn't do nothing about it at all. I want to learn Programming; mylotting, and make extra money online. 24 hours per day, I just not able to do it all at once. Plus, I need sleep and I need to work too.

Yes, i wish i had more time too- since sometimes it is just not enough especially if you have a lot of thing to do or accomplish.. and the deadline is so near.. i just want to stop time sometimes..

I completely agree with you. I often wish that I had more time in the day. As it can be difficult to complete everything that needs done in a 24 hour period. If though we had that extra time I'm sure we would crame it with everything possible as well. There really are so many important things in our schedule. We have to prioritize and get rid of the non essential things that take up our time.

Well,It depends on situations for me. If that day is interesting i want more.If i am bored,i will start thinking why can't days end fast.I really forgot how time really runs fast when i do what i like. I think your life is always interesting and You like the way things are going on and that is why you want more. I must say you really do lots of things in a day..

Sometimes we really feel that 24 hours is not enough for a day and we wanted to extend some hours due to too many things that we do or wanted to do yet a day is not enough to do done all those things. Time management is really important for us to balance things and do things that we wanted to do.

i know how you feel.sometimes i feel that i don't even have time to breath.i believe we would all need some extra hours but since this is not possible we must learn to manage our time in the most effective way.

You see life is not easy specially if you have family already. You have to work hard for your kids and family in general to survive. But I think you need to have a break just one or two days so you can regain your strength and motive your self again. Being in a work always is not good to our body and mind, it makes us go weak so be sure to always have time for your self. It is nice you have these sorts of jobs so more strength and power. I wish i had more time to sleep as well!! lol :D Just 2 things a day is taking up almost 24 hours of my time. IN the day, i'm working 12 hours shift. After which, i'm working part time at night for another 10 hours. With the 2 hours left, i can only use it for little nap and meals.. lol Things only gets better when it comes to weekends, but not much better either. THat's the time i use for family, general cleaning in the house, bonding with friends, mylotting at times and doing my weekly, monthly, yearly budgeting I'm so tired...

I really do not think 24 hours a day is enough for anyone. The more complex our world gets the less time we have. I spend hours sometimes just trying to figure out certain things that could be made a lot simpler. It really kills productivity of what I can get done in a day. I would be willing to compromise. Take away my frustration and the need for sleep. I think then I would make a lot of progress if I could remove those 2 things.

hi shylade, to be honest, I do not wish there was more time in a day.. the reason I say"NO" is because the more time there the more I could find to do..so I will be satisifed with just the 24 hours... But you need to slow down, you are heading for a burn out,,,, Slow down and be around for a while.....

Pretty much the same here---too much life and too little time I'm only sleeping a few hours a night now---but it doesn't help much---just makes me cranky but I love my life, too. I keep evolving but that usually means just more stuff that I think has to be done I am so aware of everything and everyone around me and a dear sweet person reminded me to stop and smell the roses so I think I will---I'm kicking back this weekend and just enjoying---LIFE you should try it too

Yes, I also want 48 hours a day. Then I can eat more, blog more,shop more and love more, of course sleep more.You enjoy your life.That's good. Someone may think that 24 hours is too long and they want to die soon, because they have nothing to do. We should be thanksful that we are busy, so cherish the time and after we go to the heaven, we will be respected by the earth.
