Well...time goes by quickly. There will be EURO again. EURO is like a small world cup where most of the finest footballers show their best. Spain was the winner of Euro 2008 and we still remember Torres`goal.
Group B is the hardest group where Germany, Holland and Portugal are put in the same group. Some friends will become enemy (Robben v Gomez and colleages at Bayern, Ozil,Khedira v CR7).
Who do you think will be EURO 2012 winner? Will Spain retain the trophy? Will Italy advance?Who will be in the final?Share your prediction please...thank you

Well I'd like to be Greece but I highly doubt that since I don't think we'll be able for a 2004 miracle again. Maybe we could go to the next round but that's about all. Well Germany,Spain,Netherlands seem to be the favorites, out of those three I prefer Germany to be the winner so my guess goes on them.

I think Spain will again be the favorites. But they are team on the down and with injuries to Villa and Puyol have injury worries in key areas. But they still have the best midfield in the world. Holland and Germany are two teams that are definitely co-favorites. The Dutch team is really strong, but always with any dutch team the question is will they be able to stay together as a team? If so, they would be definite favorites. Germany is a team on the up, with the youngsters now a bit more experienced after the last world cup and stints with top clubs of Europe. So for me these three clubs are the hot favorites.
Cheers!

The favorite has to be Spain. They are the most talented team. They play the best football. They have Torres. I can not think of any team that can take away the crown from the defending champion. If I must name one, I will take England. Don't forget, England has got Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

I doubt that Spain is going to win again. No team has had three consecutive title wins, and no matter how good they are, I don't beleive they can't achieve that.
Germany is always very close to winning and now might be their time.
So they're my favorites.
When it comes to outsiders, I would pick Russia or France as teams that can positively surprise and go all the way.

I think the winner will be Spain or Germany. Maybe the Netherlands can make it into the final match, but I just see them as runners up.
I also think we must pay attention to the hosts, Poland and Ukraine. They could be the upsetting team.

One person said "The past is prologue" and one seems to agree with him perfectly. Teams like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany performed very well during the qualification stage. However, they seem not to be performing as well as they did during the qualifying matches. Italy have lost the their last three friendly matches, nothing is more negative for morale than that.
In spite of this, however, one should not rush to predict who will likely win the Euro 2012 tournament. We can judge more fairly at the end of the first round of matches when the game move to the knock out stage. So, I can't bet on any team.

German. The players are youngset in all 16 teams but also have rich experience at the same time.

Probably Germany. That's my bet. But if it's not, Spain would be my second guess. These are simply the best teams in Europe at the moment too. Holland is good as well, but usually do not do well in big tournaments, and Portugal probably won't even advance from their group...

My prediction, the final would be Germany vs Netherland, and the trophy might belong to Germany. I'm not Germany fans, but so far they had shown very great performance with their young talent and senior talent. they have very great combination wheter in defence, midfielder and forwarder. SPain is also strong candidates, but Torres, which play very well in Euro 2008, often play unstabiland to be honest I'm not sure that he will play superb during Euro. Moreover, they come to Euro without Puyol and Villa, which may make difference. I always been Italy fans, but their latest performance in friendly match was very poor, that make me worry about their performance in Euro. In other side they have very serious problem which disturb their preparation. THey known as team with strong mentality, if this can bring same effect as calciopoli, they can make surprise!
