Government Promises Faster Internet End of Year

Soon, the people of Indonesia can feel the speed of the internet are qualified.
It can be felt when the archipelago Internet Exchange (NIX) has reached 33 provinces in Indonesia are expected to be completed by the end of 2012.
Until now, NIX is ready to operate already number 8 units and construction continued until the end of the year.
Later, when the project is completed NIX, Indonesia will increase internet speed. Primarily to access content that was in the domestic network.
It is delivered by Woro Indah, representing the Director General of Post and Information Provider (DG Postel) in the e-Indonesia Initiatives Forum (Forum EII) to-8.
"Every NIX will consist of 15 servers where each server will have 15 terabytes of bandwidth. Each server will consist of 200 shelf," said Woro in the West Hall Institute of Technology Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (04/25/2012).
This statement is to answer questions about the government's support for cloud computing development in Indonesia. According Woro, NIX is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud computing in the adoption in Indonesia.
In the Minister of Communication and Information 21/PER/M.KOMINFO/12/2010, NIX is Internet Exchange Point (IEP) which is financed through fund contributions Universal Telecommunications Service Obligations. IEP is a point where the routing of Internet traffic gathered for each interconnect.
Purpose of the building is to:
Distribute the Internet traffic in the area of ??telecommunications universal service, national traffic and international levels.
Reduce latency, increase speed internet service.
Efficiently routing Internet traffic.
Reducing the cost of delivery of national and international traffic.
NIX users to national traffic is internet access service providers (internet service provider), Internet service providers interconnect (network access point), or organizers and electronic systems that have AS Number.

well, I am not going to turn you down
but, as far as I know, the gov. is always thought of a "great" plans, but not even half of it are in motion
see the Busway project, is it already done? is it already "perfect" as it was planned?
not to mention the Monorail project
so, we better see it for ourselves how the gov. running their plans

in my POV, the gov. were just wasting our nation's budget
all they can do is thought of a "great" plan, then wasting budget on meeting and everything else related to their plan, and then... BAM! the half-baked plan / project is in motion
it only adds traffic jams, and wasting our money

Hi friend, good to hear that Indonesian government planned to give a faster internet in the end of this year, hope lot of people will get benefits with this plan. I am from India and here we have fast internet
