I have often heard a lot of people speaking about following your "gut" feelings..it seems most of the time that feeling will steer you in the right direction or on the right road. How do you feel about that "gut" feeling???

I follow my gut feeling and usually its right. Whenever I dont follow it I usually regret it and pay the consequences later.

Dear bjc, I believe in the Lord and my gut feeling. However, I trust the Lord more than I trust my gut feeling. The Lord is faithful and He will never steer me wrong.

Hi MandaLee, thanks for your reply however, I was actually posting about "gut" feeling one gets at certain times in there stomach or heads.. I am a truly believer of God and I believe it is he who is trying to give us a warning to go ahead or be cautious. for that is what I have experienced..with 'gut' feelings. I really was NOT even discounting my God and his powers.... and never will...

I get a weird "gut" feeling when something goes wrong so I have learned to follow that gut feeling when things don't feel right... Too bad I don't have a gut feeling when things are going good like winning at the casino!! lol

For the most part, I follow it. I think our minds understand things subconsciously that we don't always understand consciously. Also, I believe that God leads us and we don't always recognize it as such. That "gut" feeling could be many things, but I do believe it's smart to pay attention to it.

There are scientific studies that support the fact that we think with out gut and if we follow it, generally it will not steer us wrong. I know I often regret things that I chose to do when my gut feeling said I should not.

Hello there, I do believe my 'gut' feeling too. I believe this also links to intuition and six sense. When I don't feel to share my secret with my friends, I will wait till the time is right. When I sense that someone's explanation is simply an excuse, I know when to stop asking more questions. LOL

I pay attention to it. I think sometimes our subconscious minds understand things that we don't understand consciously or that we dismiss as trivial. Also, I believe that God leads us and sometimes that "gut feeling" is that although we don't recognize it as such. "Intuition" or whatever we want to call it, is part of the human experience and I believe we would be wise to pay attention to it.

Yes Ms BJ, I always do. It doesn't come to me very often but when I felt no doubt that I will follow it. I just more confident in my guts feeling to follow it.
