Text messing while driving

I'm sorry, but what a total dumba$$!!! Ok, cellphones should be banned while driving anyway, but who in their right mind would text message while DRIVING??? Oh, well I guess that question just got answered!! What a coconut!!!

I tried to do it, had a hard time could not keep my eyes on the phone so I wont do it any more. I use a bluetooth head set to talk while driving. Will never try a text message again though unless I pull over to the side of the road

Yup! Sure have! Buuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttt... I do these things while stopped at a light and such.

Well all i can say is, it takes one person to mess it up for everyone! I dont make a habit of doing this but yes, on a couple of good convo's that was started on my text messenger, i have text while driving. While trying to save most of it for red lights and any stops that i make, i only stick to quick repsonses or the quick notes already in place. I do have a supervisor who text messengers while she drives! She is a beast at it! I swear they should hold a text message race to see who can do it faster or longer. And i dont think its in the short form either folks. I believe she types out the whole word. I pretty much know cuz while i am at work she text's to my aol!

Yeah I totally agree with you. The other day this woman was zig zagging and I was wondering what the heck was wrong with her. I decided to pass her to be safe. It turns out that as I was passing her, I could see her using her phone, sorta like either dialing or texting. Man, I tell you, it's like where's the cops when stuff like this happens. Another day I was driving and this guy nearly side swiped me, turns out he's on the phone blabbling away and staring at this girl who had a minnie walking down the street. It irritates me, it's like take a minute to think, is it seriously worth it? I really don't thinkso. My fiance took my text away because he hated the fact that people would want to have a conversation by text and by that blowing my bill of the hook! Now I have unlimited, but I don't use my phone while I drive. It's unbeliebable how people don't practice safety these days.

Yeah, I've got to admit that I do text message while driving. However, I do it very carefully and usually only when I'm stopped at a light or at a place where there is little traffic. Doing it on a highway or on a road where the speed limit is over 45mph, then that's just dumb. As long as your smart about it, I think it's fine. It's unfortunate that someone got in an accident for stupidity. Soon, there will be laws making it illegal to text while driving due to these ignorant people. Ugh!

not really..i usually wait til im at a traffic light or until im stopped driving. there is no point in texting while driving..just as there is no point in eating, drinking, doing makeup, reading, doing crossword puzzles, etc. like i have seen so many times.

hmm I don't think i've ever done that I do have a qwerty keyboard on my phone so it might be easier...

well i admitt dat i du it...but wat i du b4 dat is dat i slo down mah vehicle to almost a walkable speed and then take it to one side of d road n then drive it slowly slowly n at d same time....txt up also...but i promise after 2day..no more messagin while am on d wheel....dats for shurr

Hello! I never do that because I am going to go to driving classes next week lol! But I am not going to text msg while driving. I have also heard about such accidents before & I don't understand why people do mistakes after knowing everything...vani^_^

I do it once in a while but it´s very dangerous... Much worse than talking.

No, I don't text message while driving, and recommend others don't do it either. It's too dangerous.

My husband used to send text messages or make a call while driving. I just knew about it when we were together in the car. I was scared for our lives. So what we did is when he has to make a call or send a text message while driving, i am the one doing it. He just have to tell me what he wants to tell to the one who texted.
