I have seen a variety of wildlife outside my window lately. There are the usual birds but what I am talking about are rabbits, the quail with the top notch and for the first time white wing dove. I have seen the usual dove often in the past but this is the first season I have seen white wing dove. I haven't seen any roadrunners for quite some time. Hopefully there will be some soon. Earlier in the Spring there were some Robins which was also a first; I think they have moved on farther North since I haven't seen them for several weeks.

I can imagine you gazing out of your window , my friend. The way i see it in your discussion, you have a very nice forest like place.
Our window here also reveals a vacant lot filled with trees. Early in the morning i can hear the birds chirping and i would peep in our window and see them perched on some tall branches of the mango trees. Others are in some much higher trees.
Such a sight to behold, what more of your place? !

That's nice that even if there are few trees , there are still a lot of wildlife, stealthy.

My garden is specially designed to attract birds with a bird bath and fruit trees. I get to see these birds every single day. I have captured them all in my camera and have several video clips specially with them spending time in the bird bath.

I live out in the mountains in North East Washington State and we have an abundance of wildlife. Deer frequently, lots of birds, hummingbirds, robins, jay's, crows, nuthatches, wrens. We also have grouse and wild turkeys. Once in awhile we have a moose and her calf come around, we have elk, raccoon, coyote and we have seen wolf twice, bear three times and cougar twice and a bobcat. We see a lot of wildlife and never know what one day will bring from another. It is a treat.

I live in Eastern US and in my particular yard or lack of yard on the corner of a busy street we have a few squirrels, rabbits and the assorted chickadees, black birds, robins and your occasional cardinal. But what I miss are the tons of Blue Jays even though they steal the nuts I give the squirrels. Maybe I'll see more when we get off this horrid street.
And I miss those goofy looking birds we used to have in our yard in Arizona. I don't know what they were called but they had this funny little thing on the tops of their heads like a fan and made the cutest cooing sound. I also miss the roadrunners, I thought they were adorable as well when they ran.
