Yes, it is really fun to socialize with people all across the planet on mylot. Though sometimes, Im unable to reply back to comments because I usually post three four discussions together, so I have to find time to reply back to them, like right now. Sorry for the late response, gelomon. And thanks for the comment.

I was guilty of not being able to reply to my discussions before, but now when i do create a discussion, i try my best to reply and give my take on all of them too, i think it is a good habit to do so, because when you do you are able to be in a discussion and your friends or the people who responds to your topics feel that you are interested for what they are saying to what they have shared. I think it is just about right and fair to get back to the people who appreciated your post by engaging in discussions with them, too. =)

Definitely, I believe so too. It really affects both the asker and the responder psychologically. Thanks for the comment, chiyosan.

Hi jziakhan, i do that always, may be late but i never forget to reply to their responses or comments. Because they spend little time for our discussion and more over it shows our courtesy.

I haven't been responding but just skimmed the responces you have gotten. Maybe I should. I mean if it does give a little more money that's good right? I hadn't been because I am rather introverted and it's easier for me to respond to people then to start a disscussion to begin with! When I do start a discussion I do check on it and if a response is asking me a question in return or has something I feel comfortable commenting back on I will. It is not very likely though because people explain themselves well most times and Thank you messages don't count.

Well thanks for responding, and I agree with you to an extent, now we know that replying to comments promises some valuable income. As for the latter, definetely, thankyou messages don't exactly earn you money, but that does not mean that they do not 'count'. They are precious artifacts of appreciation to the person who has taken time to respond to your discussion. We all know how pesky those 'Give this discussion a Tag' webpages are right after we respond to a question and have to take time to skip the webpage and then arrive at yet another "Add this to your Interests?" page. But I like how you mentioned that most people already do explain themselves well, which is true, and then replying asking them to further elaborate is not needed. Thanks for the great comment, kerriokey. JZIAKHAN.

I most times try to comment on all the discussions I have started. I think it is good to comment on discussions and it is good to keep the discussions going. I think most probably try to comment on all the discussions that one started.

The good thing about keeping the discussion going is that more people can respond to the good discussions. I hope all the old discussions come back and more people can response to the discussion.

Yes, it is definitely a good thing to keep the discussions going by commenting and replying baack to the users who take time to respond to our discussions, especially since our discussion then shows up in the 'recent' tab, it's almost as if we have reposted the discussions themselves! Thanks for the comment.

Yes, I do try to respond to all of them, after all, the main reason why I started the topic is to know what other people think. So I think it's just fit for us to reply or comment those who have responded. Though of course, with a lot of topics to cover, I think we should just take it one at a time, though I can't reply quickly, I do give time to respond to each of the comment. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I completely agree with you, I try to do as many as I can myself, but when the comments come on flooding, its impossible to reply to them so fast, just like you said. Thank you for the comment, Happy-mylotting. JZIAKHAN.

Most of the time, I'll do that. But sometimes it can be really hard, since some responses don't give me any opportunity to further down the discussion. Rather than only say "thanks", I prefer to not give comments..

Yes, I always do my best to reply to the comments that I receive from my discussion because I know that they put extra effort and time in every discussion. Replying from the comments is my way to show my gratitute to them.

I can completely see why, its a way of starting a conversation with the person who comments on your discussion, and a way to let them know that their comments are not going unacknowledged, which is the primary reason to enter a discussion in the first place. THANKS FOR THE COMMENT, JZIAKHAN.5

Right you are musicscout! Responding to comments on discussions apparently also count as contribution to this site, which is generous and just of the officials, seeing as how many people practice replying back to comments that they recieve on their discussions regularly. It woulld be a shame not to recieve payment for them! Thanks for the comment,JZIAKHAN.
