WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR PARTNER IS HIV POSITIVE?

Would you go ahead with your ralationship if you find out you partner is HIV positive with no fault of his or hers?

i would want the truth from him i maen you get HIV from something. ussually from multiple partners b/c your aren't careful but no i wouldn't i would find a guy who can keep it in his pants lol there are to many desent people out there to waste your time on one who isn't

Of course, that's what relations are all about, and maybe that belief would give my partner the strength to bring the disease down

Yes, I would continue with the relationship. I have to admit I have a bit of a problem with the 'fault' issue relating to HIV/Aids because most illnesses we catch and suffer from are in some way related to the life we lead and the things we do, therefore to feel that there are some people who in some way deserve to be HIV positive is a concept I have a problem with. But yes, if I met someone I loved and they were HIV positive, I would continue with the relationship. Another point is that your precautions should be the same whether you know someone is HIV positive or not - they might be, and that is why precautions are absolutely essential.
