what type music is more melody ?

hello friends, in this world many types of music, rock , classical , folk and many other type ... and have many singers (ya ... most of them superb and too much famous) , and have a different type audience type audience for them , for one type like audience other type music is waste and they don't like it and there like type music is great for them. some other type audience also have same opinion. i don't want to include name of any great singer otherwise there fan following will start with a new debate , just want to ask which type music is really great and all type have there own values ???
