Why are we always happy when we get something free?

That's why there's a saying; The best things in life are...LIBRE!" Libre is a Filipino word means "FREE". life nowadays don't always have free stuffs. Well, if there is, it can only mean that you have bought something from them before you get something free. But then on, the ones you got with no requirements before getting it can be called good free stuffs. Cause you don't have to do anything just to get such free stuffs. I can't remember when was the last time I got my free stuffs...

of course.. we are always when we get something free it is our habit not only me..i think all people include you, must be happy if get something by free..

This happiness is often mixed with wonders, because in all of our idea that there are no service or something, but paid. But in fact, that the place of sunglasses offers you the best service and no charge to come back to him in the dealings of other price-driven. These are the same happiness when you buy something for less than its price. It's human nature.

Of course ryanong,, no matter how small it is, be it a favor or a smile i receive, it makes me happy. Maybe it is our human nature to be delighted and thankful with free things given us, though nowadays we could seldom find freebies anymore without buying something. Even then, i am still happy to buy in the malls if there is always a freebie. One reason is, if the freebie is something we need and useful, then we don't have to buy and spend money for that anymore. If somebody smile at us, it brightens our day and we gain friends. If somebody helped us without any fee, we were able to accomplish our tasks easily. That is why they say that "the best things in life are free". Least i say that, "the free things in life makes me happy".

Here I also usually get that service for free. Now commercial competitions are intense so they have to make many ideas to attract consumers. To us, even just a small item of service might make us comfortable and happy, plus free, we really feel “ourselve is god”, lol. Actually I think the majority are not tough, good service maybe good enough, if something for free, that is close to perfect:D

because it's free! who don't like free stuff? good free stuff of course, not the bad one! :D i believe every people like the good free stuff, is it? :D

I love freebies too and I am found of joining giveaways as well. I don't know but it makes me feel happier the fact that is FREE maybe that makes it more exciting.

Most of the time people are always trying to charge crazy prices all the time. And people are often looking for ways that people can pay them even for simple things. So when something is free we are happy about it. Especially if we don't make a lot of money and we realize the savings we now have.

It appears to be the human nature.Actually we like to get everything for free....free of cost,but it's not possible.So whenever we get something for free,we get delighted.It makes us feel we have got something without working for it.Still my experience has been that such freebies does not have quality and perhaps they are not actually free of cost.Their price is included in the price of the commodity with which they are given.

The question you wrote make me think, yea why we always happy when get something free. Sure because, it's free! Do you notice too, that we born, breath the fresh air, for free? So. we have to be happy too for that blessings.

Because we feel very lucky and honored when we get free those are the reason why were happy. :)

Because a lot of things we need must be paid,so if we meet some thing for free,we will be happy.As for me,also because I earn not enough money,so if something is free,I will feel happy.But I read one sentence early before:The most impportant thing in the world is always free,such as the air,the love,the friendship.

That's human nature. When we are offered something absolutely free, it fills our hearts with some kind of joy. But we forget that every item offered free to the customer by business establishments has the price of the free item too added in it. This is because of the worldly truth that nothing is offered FREE. The wise business houses throw open a bait to its prospective customers by way of offering attractive discounts or free items in order to lure people to the marketed products.

I honestly believe that we find it comforting to get something for free. We spend so much of our hard earned money purchasing things that is nice to get something we did not have to pay for. it is a specil treat to get something for fee. why not be happy about it.

I do not know why and i believe that everybody would feel that and it's common phenomenon i think.lol,one factor is still that you really get the thing you want and also free of charge.There is no reason that people do not happy.lol,have a nice day.

hi ryanong, its proably because we are so use to paying for most if not all services that when we get something for free, not only are we gracious but also surprised... glad your glasses fit your properly now... But business do things like that because they hope perhaps the next time you need payable service you will remember how nice and courteous they were, and perhaps you will give them your business or recommend them....

It's because we feel that we are getting ahead a little bit. Free means it took nothing from us to get it, thus it's pure profit. This is probably often a semi-subconcious feeling.

Best things in life are free :) anyway, for me, i'am happy when having free things because i'am not about to waste money which can be used in the near future.
