which one do you choose between those two? i have an argument with my friend there few days ago about which one is better wether become your own boss or being an employee for the rest for your life because it's safer and have no risk at all? in my opinion, become an employee in a company wouldn't makes you rich instead you have your own business but my friend said that starting our own business also don't really safe at all and it may have lots of risk, so due to you guys, which one better? and why? :D

For me, I am an employee now, but when i save enough sum of money, i would want to put up my own business. Even if your friend said that there would be risks at stake and many what ifs, it would be better to take that risk rather than standing on the same ground for the rest of your life. If your job right now is at a high position already and it would make you secure for the rest of your life, then do it for the rest of your life, but if you think that after spending your whole life in that work they won't lay you off when they need to lay off workers when in recession?
It's better to take risk rather than not to because you can challenge yourself to be a better person when you can overcome all the roadblocks that are coming. but of course, while brainstorming, you can also forecast whatever risk you have to take so that you can have plan b and c.
Hope it helps cindytandry:)

It is really hard to decide, but when you have the money to start your business, it would be great.
You are right, there are no person that became rich for just being an employee.
Taking risk in putting business is really included.
In my opinion, I think I have to go for an employee first. This will let you practice what you finished in school. After earning and saving enough money to put a business, you can have it but never get out of your work first. Try to make a study if your business is making your earn enough money.

Dear Cindy.. I am currently employed under an international firm here in the country but just last month, i have applied for my business permit and DTI reg... hence, while being an employee in my job, i am also multi-tasking as a little boss for my little business. Wish me luck please........

at first i'd choose to an employee but not for my whole life. save money for a bit then start my own business. but you can do both though. you can be a employee at same time have a business.

Having your own business is better if you have the resources and you will really plan for it. Having a business is not easy since it is risky but it is better than having to work in terms of financial gains. You can be rich having your own business than working in a company.
Working in a company is better if you do not have resources for business yet, use that job to save money for future capital.

I said, do business! Well, it might have greater risks than being an employee but question is do you want to be someone else's subordinate all the time?? I don't.
I don't want to be a follower but a leader. I heard this saying once, "It is better being an ant but a king, rather than being an elephant but a servant"
I am totally agree with that saying. It is better to be your own boss, fight your own fight.. than being other's employee and fight other's battle..
Which one do you choose??
