Just this afternoon I scheduled the posts about blogging tips and to my surprise those posts are deleted. OMG. I spent more than a week to create them and in just 1 click all gone. I haven't noticed that the check-box has checked. I remember that when you edit them they will be checked. And I deleted an unneeded post and didn't noticed that some are deleted with it. I keep on scanning the drafts, the scheduled and the published area but can't find them anywhere. It's really a big mistake. Ahhhh.. I'm so disgusted. I can create those again but it won't be as good as those posts.

You should ALWAYS save a copy of every post you make on your own PC. That way, if a site goes down for any reason (or you make a silly mistake) you will have a copy and can easily post them again or reconstruct your site on another server. You don't need a full-blown wordprocessor (though it helps). WordPad is quite sufficient but if you need something more powerful, LibreOffice is free and compatible with Microsoft Office with just about the same functionality.

I agree with you. I had an old blog which has over 400 articles on it but it was deleted by Blogger due to suspected as spam. I can't get it back. I am so sad and angry at blogger. Sigh~~~ Now I started a new blog.

Sorry for late response. Before, I usually make a backup but later on I found it useless because it's always there and I trust Blogger. But I never thought about that when I edit a post it will be checked that's why it has been accidentally deleted. I think that was a lesson. I'll make back up copies now. Thanks for your concern guys.

Sorry to hear about that, you can make a post first in MS Word to have a better back up by saving it on my documents and copy it on blogger. This will help you to retrieve all the post.
