How old were you when you started working?

Good topic. I was about13 when i first set foot in my father;s business. It was by compulsion. My father fell ill with a heart attack then and by force i was requireed to look after his shop after school Of course i completed studies simulteneously.

I started working for my mom as a hostess in her restaurant when I was 9, and yes I was a paid employee. Then I got a job when I was 13 as a waitress in a tiny cafe working for complete strangers. What's worse is I am 29 now and have only had about 2 months total of down time since then. I have had a steady job, while going to school, and then I joined the army, and as I got out of the army I had a job lined right up, then I got second job, now I'm back down to one job and the internet.

I started working when i was twelve years old, it is also a time when my father passed away, i have no one give me pocket money, so i have to go out and earn it. I will start working as a cotton truck delivery helper after my school for few hours a day to earn part time income for spending; it is tough but i manage to survive all those grueling years and came out in one piece at last.

I started working on my second year in college, working for a rural bank as collector in the morning. i guess i was around 17, and it really helped a lot as i was able to go day-to-day at school without asking for money from my parents. WOrk in the morning, and attend school in the afternoon.

Well,i started working since last year and that's certainly the year that i graduated from school.lol,anyway,i feel happy that i can make a living through my own efforts.Plus,i also learned a lot since steped into the society.

I started to work when I was 8 years old. My neighbor was hired me as a gardener every summer and during weekends I am selling vegetables like tomatoes, eggplant, cabbage and long string beans in the market together with my sibling. Those experienced build me to become more aware in terms of handling money and how to make money in proper way.

14 and gave all my money to my parents, or apperantly I didn't know I was giving , there are many sad stories and mainly that's what made me hate working back then. I think I was too young to work full time and also overtime for free.

I start earning money when I was in grade school. I buy and sell some small toys or stuff kids would like during those days. I also sell some food delicacies when I was around 12 years old. I make pastillas at home when I was in high school and sell it to my classmates in school. When I was in college, I sell cellphone loads, and buy and sell clothes.;)

I started working for a wage outside of the home when I was 13 years old. I was worked at a variety store and cleaned the store as well as put together different items like bicycles, grills, toys, etc., and did whatever else was asked of me. When I was 14, I also started driving the delivery truck to make deliveries.
