I have to say at some point everyone cares about looks. First impressions are always important at least to me. I will always remember the first time i met my friends and that first impression is what lead me to feel comfortable around them. if you asked me this question couple of years ago i would say no looks dont matter but the reality hits you at some point. But thats not always true either. When i was forced to talk to someone and get to know them better i like thm for who they are. so it all depends on how you look at it

If you 'don't really like' how that person looks, for sure you won't go deeper and not be interested to know more about that person. But if that is just a normal person - somebody who you won't think too much of how he/she looks, then you don't have to like or don't like his/her looks. Like a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, he/she comes to take your order, you don't have to like or don't like his/her looks. You just tell that person what you want to order. If that person is a friend that you first meet, if how he/she looks is a matter of concern to you, then it is likely that you would only nod politely and there would not be anymore interactions. Nobody will want to know more about a person whom he/she does not like.

If there is anything I have learned in life its never judge a book by its cover. Just because a person may not be attractive, after talking to that person and getting to know them you might see a big difference in their looks. There are alot of what people would consider "beautiful people" out there, however, get to know them and they could end up looking really bad because of their bad attitude. So never go by looks when it comes to a person its not right. You could be missing out on the best relationship ever.

I would want to know the person. And you'll never know right, that God might have a bigger purpose for you to know that person. Maybe you will help him change in ways you can never imagine

I hate to say it but looks really does matter in whatever the situation is. But saying that, I don't think that I will not talk to someone just because of the way that they look. There are a couple of times where I fell for guys who I thought I would never be interested in.

Of course looks matter. Those who say it's not lie. The first impression is made within a few seconds, faster as your brain can even tell you.

I would try to get to know the person. Looks do matter but it isn't the most important thing. If that is all we are focused on in the end we will learn that we should have been thinking differently. It is good for us to get to know individuals for who they are not what they look like.

Hi swissheart, yes looks matter to me...Now the way a person is dress is not so important. because everyone don;t look like you or I...for whatever reason...So I relly try not to judge people because everyone is somebodys child and I really do keep that in mind... Now there are people who I will never attempt to talk to or even because of that "gut" feeling that people get...-and hi swissheart, yes by all means, looks do matter to me...however I try not to judge people based on their looks, because I know for a fact that everyone can not looke like you or me..However there are some people that I have seen that I want nothing to do with and its because of that great ole "gut" feeling... I alsp try to remember everyone is somebody's child or maybe mother/ father/sister/brother, in other words everyone is something to somebody.. we also knoww that everything that shine is not gold or silver. so thats something I also remember..
