One of the goodies that was in the box sent to us from Australia by my sister-in-law were gummy candies. We have given some to our nephews and nieces but decided to have some for ourselves at home. Last night, we had it as our dessert. And shaped as snakes, they were so long and elastic. It took me quite some time to masticate it before I have consumed one. Though, I must say they are delicious and a nice exercise for the jaw.

Dear friend, We do have this mostly in shapes of snakes and lizards in our bakeries shops. I rarely have it. It is really an exercise for the jaw, but I would prefer a bumble gum for exercise of my jaw. As the sweetness of this gummy candies last long, it is really tasty. Any how you are lucky you have nephews sending thins like that and thanks for sharing to us....

A okay. So that's what you are trying to say. Well, here they only sell it at the supermarkets and a booth in the mall that sells entirely different candies. But i don't buy them . I only eat them, because it was sent to us.

Gummy candies are some of my favorites. Gummy bears and gummy worms. What bothers me is that here most of the gummy candy is turning into sour flavored candy. I don't like the sour flavoring. It is very hard for me to find my gummy worms without a sour powder coating. Yuck! They do take a long, long time to chew though, don't they.

Yes, some have sour taste though but some are sweet. Its tiring to chew them though. i was afraid it might break my denture. But it didn't.

These are made from jelly (Jello to Americans). But as you already know, the old style gelatin block jelly packets have disappeared, only to be replaced by sachets of chemicals. Also most sweet dish packets of any kind are now unsweetened. So finding a source of real Gummy Bears or Jelly Babies is getting incredibly hard. Those that have a sour taste are clearly not originals!

The gummy candies were actually started by the gummy bears! When i was a kid they were my favorite. Then other gummy candies came along, candy factory outlet sprouted here and there where you could choose and weigh your candy, buying them in grams. I miss my childhood. I still love gummy candies until now.

Yes, it's good for a change and we don't get to eat them often, because they are actually kid's stuff, winterose. But eating it makes me remember my daughter who likes it so much. Unfortunately, we forgot to send her amongst the chocolates we sent to her, the gummy snakes.

Oh we forget to take a look at the best before dates of the gummy candies. Though, i guess they are still not espired because they are yummy and actually one pack is already consumed last night. The cheese balls that have a best before date of May 31 was a bit bland already. But they were still crunchy to the bite. We consumed a big pack at once paired with soda.
